I was talking about the one at Camelback, under the caff (and across from the rentail shop)
-
Mmm found there trail map... Doesn't look as big as 7 springs But I guess I will be going out anyway :
-
And looks like there is a race or 2 at frost this winter. Ski, ever been to tussey?
-
CB is good for skis, as they have a few x racers in there shop, I don't know how many of them ride.
-
Not must....The front is made for twisting falls, and the back is made for like flipping over, Some trick ski bindigns have a rear twisting out thing too. I think some people like to put there rear DIN higher, so if they are skating hard, or extremely forward, or anyother reason, they won't have to worry about popping out. At Hood they always asked, what do you want your front din at, and waht do you want your heal din at, so some people do put dins on different settings. Ski, You can correct me if any of this is incorrect, but I do believe it is fairly accurate.

How much are you gonna pay for em? I am not interested, but you know, there probably not worth more than $20ish realisiticly. Sorry forumdestroyer

See snow? I saw my snowfrom last season liek everyday, and who knows how old that snow is out there. And didn't Sib see snow at her mountain a few weeks ago?
-
Haha, jeff I guess I just have it all worked out, I know the guys who work in the repair shop, and I know a few of the cooks up at C-top. I can almost get nice burning hot friers, right out of the frier. As for prices, thats ski areas for ya....not just CB
-
Ehh Bottom food is deffinatly all bad, but I don't think the top is always that bad. I have eaten in the fireside with a few of the "old peeps" (masters) before, and thats not too bad in there.
-
CB base lodge fries are below average, but Ctop isn't bad. 7 Springs...Now those were some GOOOOD fries and err some good races too
-
2 ways jibbo, We all know jeff to make himself happy, as snow makes him happy also, And second, its the new smilie
-
Stop YELLING AT ME I thought about it, but then I desided I should just leave them for mum. Well I guess the skickers are mine after all
-
It was a slalom race, It was one of the shorter and flatter courses, but it was ok.
-
Haha, Well I went for a race, and just took a run down. Anyway they ran there race extremely poorly, and I don't think they are going to be given another chance to redeme themselves.
-
224.49 And the jacket sold for 50ish
-
I've been there, and taken one or 2 runs down there boardercross, but skipped most of the big stuff, just cause I don't think gus would take nicely to me breaking my leg in the park Plus its pretty bad for ski bases (the impact from landing and the limination don't go too well). As for frost, they have some nice trails, all short, but a good variation, and when there is natural snow you can ski some glades
-
Well greg has to learn how to steer at speeds, or just avoid the noobs/barny's
-
When were we racing? I don't even remember skiing on raceway with atomic and think, and deffinatly don't remember racing down it.
-
Welcome old geezer Technically it is a snowfield and not a glacer, because its not moving. Err scratch that, more technically its GREAT
-
I think skidude went out there too, Ooops I mean I went out there last winter for a race. Nice place, its like a little place from the rockies. And we got like 8 or 10 inches of snow when I was there, which made it better for freesking, but worse for racing. That mountain seems much bigger than all the pocono mountains, but I don't think it really is much larger. Also they had many bump runs, and some were easy runs with bumps on them, insted of just black dimonds with piles of crud on them.
-
Actully they were just "blowing the mice out" They plan to open (with lifts) in a few weeks. This is just an annual thing they do, so locals can ski.

I had to do a little research project in my technology class, I found this about snowmaking, Thought you peeps might be interested To cover several ski trails with manmade snow, you need a lot of water. According to SMI Snow Makers, it takes about 75,000 gallons (285,000 liters) of water to create a 6-inch blanket of snow covering a 200x200-foot area (61x61 meters). The system in a good-sized ski slope can convert 5,000 to 10,000 gallons (18,927 to 37,854 liters) of water to snow every minute!
