I wanted to see if you guys would notice. Jeeze, I didn't mean to trigger you. =P Thanks. I'm a little upset right now, but I think I'll live. I agonized a long time over buying a 56 cm vs. a 58 cm bike frame length. I have both now and I don't notice a difference whatsoever. So I based skis on the same logic. Whether it's ideal or not, it's too late now. All I know is that I demoed the 170's, skied like a bad-ass, and bought the same ones I demoed. You guys provided great advice on what type of ski I should get, so thanks a lot!

No. Ski Valley in Danville for $599. They mounted the bindings and waxed them.

Ok, honestly, how much of a difference is 170 vs 177 going to make? And I'm not being smart, I am asking seriously. I loved the 170s when I demoed them so that's what I went with.

Thanks Steeze. Shadows practically ruined my stoke level. I loved the ones I demoed and these are the exact same specifications. I bought both my Elans and RTMs from the same exact shop, a reputable dealer, and they would have never sold me 170's if they thought they were wrong for me. Otherwise if you guys think it's that big of a deal I can go argue with the guy and demand a refund.

I'm posting definitive proof in a minute, but I am seriously and honestly confused by this. Which part did I filter out and go with something to the contrary? This is the exact ski length and width I demoed and liked and took the advice of posters on here first and foremost, as well as the demo center professionals and ski shop that I purchased them from. The internet says that 170 length is an acceptable length for someone who is 6 foot.

Oh no. You just killed by stoke. These skis don't have 3D Glass like the 2018 model so I guess I'm done for.

Have fun. I would like to go back there if they fully open either Fasttrack and Runaway, both upper and lower slopes. They seem like really fun top to bottom runs, and I've never done them before. It just seems to take forever to get to the top of the Mountain from the Phoebe lift, but at least the place is always a ghost town every time I've gone.

I told Steeze that a major announcement was pending. So here it is. The moment you've (i.e. Steeze) have all been waiting for................. I took off work tomorrow to give them their inaugural run. It's too bad I can't test them on a true mountain. If only I had some kind of pass... you know, from a buddy, or something... Thanks for all of the help guys. I'll keep you posted on what I ultimately decide. Greatly appreciate all of your help and guidance

Salty you're asking for a banning dude. What for? I've been making new threads for different topics. The admin(s) merged my topics into one thread. Also Steeze specifically told me that I'm immune from bans because Steeze knows the owner of this forum.
