The raceteam had that run today. It looks pretty gnarly with large rocks and whatnot. At least they gave us plebs Main Street, but I didn't run it anyway because Upper Smugglers was more funnerer. I also did Spruce Line which is under the Sensation Quad. They call that a double black but it would probably be a green circle at Jackson Hole.

I changed my mind. Haven't moved in 30 minutes lol. I'll find a room in Burlington. Thanks for your concern. In 2018 you wrote fingers crossed when i said i might get buried in the Perder at Stowe, wow you've come around

@GrilledSteezeSandwichI just paid $36 for a small tuna bowl and coke at the Alpine Hall bar in the Spruce area. It was delicious. I'm becoming a big spender, maybe I should have waited for a McDonalds for something on the dollar menu to save a few bucks.

Just in the glades a few times, I didnt fall at all on any moe gools or perd runs. Ungroomed terrain feels easier on my wider Elan Ripsticks compared to when I rode the RTMs

Surprisingly no. The lift lines haven't been bad at all. In fact I skied so much perder and moguls and glades and more Perder that my legs are completely Toast and I dont think I can go on anymore today. But dang Daniel, it was a fantastic day of skiing at Stowe!

I think Goat is for experts like JohnnyLaw. I've been hitting up Upper Smugglers on the Spruce side and it's empty over here. Perder on the lower part of the run is deeeeep. I'll head over to the Mansfield side soon, hopefully the crowds start to spread out and I'll find some radical glades

Lolol 5 miles from the mountain and traffic is at a standstill. If I get one Perder run after a 2 hour lift line wait then it will be totally worth it

Thanks @Dirtwolf for suggesting the Best Western in Waterbury. It has everything I want in a hotel house and I didnt hear a pin drop all week. Cheaper than other places and no bullshit cancellation policies. 10/10

Skiing's pretty easy to learn yourself. Just watch a few YouTube videos, go to Spring Mountain since it's cheap, and find the easiest possible slope in the beginner area and traverse the slope like pictured below until you don't fall anymore. This way you're not going straight down the slope, you're cutting across which is far easier to learn. When you're comfortable, do the same thing on a slightly more difficult slope. Pretty soon you'll be skiing as fast as @GrilledSteezeSandwich

I skied the top of Chin Clip. It wasn't that deep but at least the fresh pow pow covered the bare spots. It was much easier for me than 4 years ago since I've advanced from a low intermediate to a low-medium intermediate.

$34. I told the salesman my price range since I don't understand the benefits of paying $50 or more for ski poles. They work grate and feel lighter than my Goodwill store ones from 2014.

The plastic baskets on the bottoms of my ski poles broke off... lost both today in the Perder! Bought brand new poles in the shop. This will be my first time ever skiing with different poles than the ones I bought at the Goodwill store in 2014 with a pair of 1960 skis for $15. RIP poles

15.2 inches now projected. Sick! It's just flurries at the base right now. I dont have a hotel house reservation Friday night and every single place seems to be sold out are charging like a billion dollars. I guess I'll just sleep in my Sonic.

I didn't ski yesterday, I posted a picture of a stuffed catamount and a poster which was pretty rad
