Typically for temperatures at least I find Blue to be about halfway between Allentown and mount pocono.

that's about right. for my zip code, we have elevations that are much lower than blue and that's where it's targeted. it is usually colder at my place than what's reported for my zip but slightly warmer than mt pocono.

Saltman see below. They offer an Alta upgrade to your ticket. Although something to consider... I know you were thinking long and hard about the Chickadee pass. That's doesn't include the Alta upgrade.

$175 for one day of skiing??

that was an exceptional purchase for having no idea what you bought.

The binding or the skis? I've been looking at the skis since Jan. I also knew that I wanted pivots and didn't need a din higher than 12, so they fit my reqs just by looking at them on the wall. I just didn't know if they had special model names. Turns out they do and these are the dual WTRs (17/18) which is what I didn't originally had no idea about.

    Thanks though.

I make sure you ski plenty..you’ll have to do some weekday morning sessions with me and BenM at Blue.

I dunno how long you plan on your sessions being but I only go for an hour and a half max. Could change this year tho, maybe 2.5hr.

there are a few options here that will fit. out of rose / pink / persimmon, which would be best? or is there no real difference.

for the smiths, does the rose fall into the mix there or just yellow for those and pinks for Os?

thanks for the thorough explanation, much appreciated.

  6. i'm going to pick up equipment this coming weekend and was hoping that whoever might know about goggles could help. here's a list of what should be available - https://www.iambenmartin.com/goggles.txt sorry that the styles/colors are abbreviated.

like others, i'm sure, i have a lot of problems with the flat light - a whole lot. if anyone could point out which of these might be best, it'd be very helpful. thanks.

Believe it or not midweek days and nights are also a great time to ski at blue. I know that's a hard concept for weekend warriors to grasp.

i'm wondering if weekdays at blue will be a little more crowded since more people are working from home now. gonna try for more nights this season.

in the comments on that video they said they'd be "going straight through tonight" about an hour ago. i didn't think they'd still be making it either.
