But morbidly Obese people can go to a waterpark but they usually don't ski..plus alot of people use vacation in the summer vs winter, plus kids are off school all summer, plus they have the flowrider..plus Papasteeze is around..it all adds up to FUN...
IDK, I've seen some morbidly obese people stuffed into gaper attire at Boulder. You are right though, most of them choose to show off even more of their grotesque bods in swimsuits. The real fatties usually wear bikinis.

It certainly wouldn't be my place of choice if nightlife is a criteria, and if you are going at a weekend there are going to be lots of families, but to me it has never seemed any worse for this than Killington. I would imagine that Jackson Gore Hotel might be your best option, if you go for a slopeside condo there are going to be kids around (not that you cant avoid, I wouldn't want to give the impression the place is overrun with hordes of them). If you really hate them then I would certainly avoid the condo's at the base area as that's where most of them would tend to be.
This is how crowded with kids it was on Easter weekend last season (this one is one of mine....)

Definitely start them on skis this season. They are not too young at all. I would wait until age 7 to try a board. They'll be zipping by you in no time.

And about the accents...did you notice everyone says "perfect" and "awesome" after everything. Example...we are at a breakfast place:
waitress: do you want coffee
us:yes
waitress: ok perfect, what do you want to eat?
us:I'll have whatever
waitress: ok perfect, awesome.

no you don't have to live in Pa. Just prove you are in 4th grade. I am going to tell all my cheap ass friends to get one for their kids. Then they will have no excuse not come to BB.

just came across something if anyone has kids going into 4th grade...
Starting in September, go on to skipa.com and you can download an application for a ski booklet for all of pa. It entitles your 4th grader 3 free lift tickets to all 20 pocono resorts (with full paying adult). It only costs $15.00
Pretty good deal. I am definitely checking it out in September.

Nah strapping in and out every run and getting passed by skiers would get annoying...plus I'd have to start acting like a punk and say dude alot...lol
the strapping in every run is annoying, but its a very fun sport.

Sweet...I haven't decided where I'm getting a pass next season..I might get the Jack Frost/Big Boulder pass. Two mountains for the price of one..
I have 6 free lift tickets since I bought 3 season passes. If I can't get Gary's ass on skis again you can use one if you come visit us Doug.

$433 I'm wondering if I could actually get up there enough to make it worth it for me....
I'd like to... but 1:45-2hr commute each way makes it tough.... not to mention the 3 kids and wife...

well its not coming in the mail. Usually starting in October you can pick it up at JF office. You have to get your pic taken there or you can email a head shot to them.

I want to find out more about the freestyle program there. I have called twice and emailed and no one seems to have any info except to say that it does exist and its kind of like the race team.

I sent the boys to camp back in June. There were no good pictures of them on the glacier from the website. Only random shots of them standing around. I have been checking the website daily for them to post the video hoping they would be in it. They finally posted it yesterday and the only shots of them are randomly standing around. There were a decent number of little kids at camp and the video and pics don't show any of them doing rails or even on the snow. Its all the older kids. yeah, I know I am whining but it sucks. End of rant.
