How's that snowpack looking? We riding a lift on Mayday?

Sad day for sure. But there's a ton of snow on BB Park trail...should be a helluva Mayday.

JFBB is claiming 8 inches on their site.

Weather.com is calling for "snow" on Friday, April 1. Of course, that could mean anything from an inch on up. But here's to hoping...sure would be nice to ride Boulder weekends right through April. http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USPA0849

Word is that ONE park is being rebuilt for a weekend slopestyle comp. If anybody gets a day in this week, please let us know what you see in the way of rebuilding efforts over there. I'd imagine there's a couple days of snowmaking before anything takes shape.

Yesterday (Sunday the 5th) was a pretty solid day at Boulder. We ran into several familiar faces and enjoyed the new rails on LOVE. BUT it would've gone down in history as JADIP, if it weren't for some random dude who seems to have watched one too many MSP films in the off season and thus tried to jump over fuckin' everything right under the BigBoulder lift. If you're familiar with the area, right at the base of the lift there's a bit of a gully with some tree stumps, rocks, and snowmaking pipes. This dude cooked in from the woods and barreled his ass over everything. He could've used a touch more speed, but that shit had himp PUMPED! He smashed pretty good, but got up smiling and screaming (somewhat awkwardly). That shit seemed to flip a switch because absolutely everybody started jumping over, on, and through anything they could find...and I mean anything. We got one picture of our exploits after the random MSP fan dialed shit up to 11. Enjoy.

Looks sick Guido, can't wait to hit up ONE park this season, really looking forward to it. In the video he doesn't address "J Rod's Shed" behind him. Looks like it's rideable...does it have box material on the top or just wood?

My perception has been the exact opposite. I feel like it's pretty much been a park reminiscent of what you used to see circa 2002 or so (although the jumps were quite good for a midseason stretch there).

Anybody who lives in the Vernon area heard any whisperings about this? I haven't ridden at Mt Creek in years, but I'm still curious about the fate of my original home mtn.

Any news outta the BB Parks? There's got to be a slim chance of a single trail w/ some rails by Dec 4-5? right?

Nice. Out of the way. Think they'll create a special ticket that gives you access purely to the bag? Seems like they're approaching it as akin to a new ride at an amusement park.

Hello everybody. I'm looking for pics of Blue's more ridiculous park features from the past. The crackerbarrel, unbanked C, the other "s" rail type contraption, and anything else you can think of. I searched through 25 pages of old posts, but all I found pics of was the swingset and bus. Thanks so much.

Couldn't agree more that alot of the "fun" in ski films seems forced. AND Afterlame is like a religion with me and my friends. I don't know if it gets the credit it deserves, but it's still the most watchable snow film I own. check out brobomb it has a wild stallions review and a bunch of other ski flicks too.

Why isn't Blue reppin the shit out of the fact that the park is featured hard in Meathead's Wild Stallions? It's not like they just pass thru, it's a significant and damn good segment.

I was gonna say something negative about the irrational love of stairsets...but ya know what? It all looks OK...we're moving towards a reasonably designed park here. Thanks for the pics. Hope it snows enough that those mtn bike trails are poachable.

Garret Russell slays the wooden wall thing, and the regular wallride. Dude's so good with the unorthodox. I would also like to draw attention to how nicely shaped the takeoffs to those features are for our friends at Meatheads. Now some takeoffs like that would probly help me learn more tricks than all the airbags in the world.
