i would rather have a full lift adn trail mayday then t hem stay open another weekend. mayday is alwasya blast

also boulder isnt open on weekdays during the day so that prolly saves a lot of snowmelt

boulder was sick today. i couldnt get my speed dialed for the jumps but it was fun.

yep you missed the crowds. most decent parks are heavily used, and camelbacks park is sick. most people using the park are still in school or are out of school and work full time jobs on weekdays. if you go on weekends and after schoool/work time you would see a lot more people in the park. i do cyber school and at bear im one of the only people riding the park during the weekday that doesnt work there. as soon as school lets out kids start packing in.

whenever you fall, just think "i cant hit my head". thats what i do. ive had 4 concussions, 1 was super bad and at this point i'd rather have a little whiplash from that then a headache and dizziness.

last year when the lift was running i saw some older guys making turns down the trail in the morning but they left after a few runs because its usually pretty crowded with kids hiking and hitting stuff. it also gets really beat up after a while.

last year was soooo sick. i really hope they have the full trail again... it was so sick to ride a lift in may

yeah but they can only complete phase one they need the grant to finish 2 of the street replica spots. im guessing they just have concrete poured for ledges and stuff so far? Thanks rootdkj!

we came to the consensus that it was because they would rake down from the top of the lip, then up from the bottom. so where the strokes met there was a roller all the way accross.

park was kickin today. the only thing i didnt like was the super skinny lip on the dfd and the flat down connection of boxes at the end of the rail park. Even though its way too short, i thought the down rail slid nice and was pretty fun.its the one from the summer setup righto? the jumps are way better then last season, although once they were raked and salted they got worse because they were raked with bumps in them and the salt just made the rollerish bumps on the lips impossible to grip. the lego is fun too, it actually has a landing unlike bears. over all had a very fun day. CBK has amazing coverage still.
