yeah I had a pretty good day also, I was surprised how uncrowded it was. well except for the park, that was pretty crowded later in the day.
-
I'd probably go with JF, I think Freedom has too many features ie too many people and too much chaos for a beginner but thats just me...
-
Yeah I have a white jacket, not as bad as pants but still wasn't the best decision my next jacket definatly won't be white but who knows when that will be....
-
Bigger than the ones in the little park?
-
Anyone know what kind of stuff they have up?
-
I wish I could give a good one but I've never given one before and wasn't paying to much attention. But I'm pretty sure that the only trails not open yet where cliff hanger, asp, and hump. Conditions were great with a lot of the natural snow still left from what they got earlier in the week I think it was? It was pretty crowded though, more so than I remember.
-
Yeah I stand corrected. I was wrong. Very very wrong.

Ah the glory of the internet, I can't tell whether you're serious or not. But either way, I know it's their little park. I think the other jumps they have up are amazing. But it seems like it'd be so easy to fix those jumps I don't understand why they don't. And by the way no I didn't know that was the way the jumps were designed but as method said, they don't do that well either.

Every time I've been in freedom the jumps have sucked. I'm not hating on Boulder or anything I'm just wondering why those jumps are so bad. It's obvious they know how to build jumps... why can't they take the time to put good ones on freedom?
-
Yeah I agree good idea, poor execution. In their defense though I've always liked the jumps on that trail well at least the first one. The landings are just shit because they never get sun and are thus solid ice.

Nah I've gotten the impression that not many schools, at least not many high schools, go to Camelback. Besides I was looking more for specific people...
-
That's what I was thinking.

Who's gonna be there this Friday (1/4) night? I'm going just about every Friday night with my school's ski club and I'm just seeing who is gonna be there.
-
I'll be up there almost definitely, most likely bright and early. Look for the skier with the white jacket, A-frames, bright green helmet, and kinda plaid white and brown pants, you'll recognize me. Say hey if you see me haha. Kyle you board or ski?
-
Definitely a lincoln.

Warrington. Going with the high school club it's like an hour and a half or so.

I'm going up like every Friday with my school's ski club. Who else is gonna be there this season? Anybody else going with a club or something?
-
Really good ski I haven't heard bad things about them except for the first year or two but they fixed all those problems.
-
So, what's the terrain park like? And are there any better ones close by? Say hour maybe little bit more? Thanks.

Which one is that? -
Buy new boots, then get used everything else. Ski sizing depends on height and weight...

Well, this is a slightly old post, so I don't know if you bought or mounted bindings yet. I wouldn't suggest Marker, they don't do so well in the park. Salomon bindings are usually super light. I would definatly say get Looks, though. They're amazing for both park and groomers. Only trouble is that they're pretty heavy, at least the dual pivots are; most teneightys are really light though, I don't know if the ones you have are though... I have thrusters... but yeah, I'd say get Look and mount them -3 from true center. Unless your skis are heavy then go for high end Salomon, same place.

Is anyone who does park going to be up on Monday the 26th?
