  3. Good for you bro... for everyone else that is just stoked to get on their board and ride as early as possible, see ya tomorrow! crowded or not..east coast riders throwin down tomorrow!!
  4. be there for sho saturday and possibly sunday
  5. SIIIIIIIIIIIICK!! So excited...way to go boulder!!
  6. Classic Camelback...doesn't take much for those hardcore "rangers" and ski patrol to suggest cetain lifts closing . pathetic
  7. It really is just bad judgement by the parents. More apparent at Bear and Big Boulder, I've seen some really bad accidents and numerous close calls. There are plenty of other areas in ehich people can learn. If the park had a double diamond on it, or park pass/ pay release it lessens the chance of random people in there. Even so, it just seems that people make a point to go down these trails with no intentions of hitting the features seriously. I mean lots of times I won't try new tricks because i'm scared someone is behind me tailing, beside me, or worse case scenario in my landing area. I just don't get it. This recently happened this past weekend in Vermont when me and STIBALLIN were there. We happened to be filming.. Check the video here -->
  8. aprils still pretty good...I'll be goin
  9. that vid is hot! makes me want to ride. Nice job...sick shot of that wooden rail thats located off of the trail in the park ..
  10. It took me one day this season to realize that I never have a need to go back to CB. Between the parks being weak, the ski patrol/rangers ( most ridiculous and abuse of power I've seen anywhere, and I've been riding all over for 15+ years) and high prices, I just can't imagine going back there. My boy even has a slopeside condo there and he can't even drag me there. Sorry CB, you just don't have anything progressive at your mountain. Hence the reason why when you go there it is mostly families, tourists and beginners. Nothing wrong with that, but just don't expect to get a "die hard" following operating the mountain the way you have the past few years. As skiers/riders, our concerns and disappointments will surely be felt by Camelback financially when we continually decide to boycott CB for it's lack of progression or reasoning.
  11. I like the 32 lineup..depends if you want to spend the extra $ for the lashed or moldable liners( + $$ ). NOrthwaves were good a few years ago..haven't seen or heard much about them recently ?
  12. I heard that the burial ground is all the way towards the left when you get on the chair by the grille/park. If you look in the woods behind where they are doing the new construction there are 2 pine trees mysteriously sitting amongst the treeline. I heard when there is no wind at all, those 2 trees will blow and you can hear voices and see images, especially at night...
  13. Got up there about 11am...no crowd really. Proceeded to hit up cascade park ( the subaru and picnic table were on my list of jibs). Rode till about 5 when the wind started kickin...jumps were not that clean, busted lips and landings all fouled up but whatever. saw the crew maintain the setup at about 4pm...all in all for the bad weather that's been around lately it was suprisingly good ridin with coverage on all the trails ( staircase was blocked off tho )
  14. any further info on this event?? Classes, setup, prizes, fees etc???
  15. Creek still has some good setups in the park, but snow coverage and crowds are always an issue. Creek back in the day was the only option when it came to progression, but now they got some competition and it's questionable what the future holds for them...
  16. Me and my crew are thinking about doing a Hunter trip this weekend. Is it worth it ?? Or should we try to hit up VT ( Smugglers perhaps, or Okemo or Bolton Valley). I have ridden here in the past, but not at all this season. Park rat pretty much...but don't mind freeridin if its ok. ANy opinions?? Haven't seen much posting here yet...thanks
  17. Camelback is ok in general, but the park is a joke in my opinion. Better than it has been in the past, but still very odd setup and no flow at all. I don't know. I just don't see the jumps getting better, or the rails getting updated. All that money that they get there through lift tickets, groups and consistent crowds it seems that they dont spend nearly enough on the park atmosphere. Those yellow rails remind me of the old mountain creek rails circa 1999...
  18. Shout out to Spellbinders...good shop out here in Jersey...remember hittin them up for stuff all the time back in Monmouth Days
  19. The comp was definitely unorganized, and the rain did not help. Whatever tho it was a good time. Wouldn't have hurt tho to have a few different rails in there besides flats ( c box, kink, rainbow etc). Way to hold it down 94B18Civic !
