I currently have a DC jacket that is 5k breathability/waterproof, but starting to show some wear and I'm looking to get a new jacket, but don't know if I should get something that is higher rated...or what. Any suggestions? What do you all wear?

I tried emailing them about the email picture thing, as to what size, background, etc. That was a week ago and I have yet to hear back from anyone

killington jan 6,7,8....University trip for 200 bucks...lift passes, bus ride, and condo on the mtn. steal.

I drove by at around 11:30 and it looked like they were blowing on the top of highball or mainline. Whistler looks to be about 1/3 covered. Cannonball (i think) looks like its got a substantial amount of snow on it.

are you working up there again and heard this from sno management? they were blowing hard tonight when I passed by and the lights were on. Its beginning to look alot like winter!

i have a salomon pulse 156, with salomon bindings. I am same size as you pretty much (5'10"/155). Board is last years model, used for one season, its in good shape, and I'll even wax it up for you. pm me if you are interested.

news just reported on boulder's snow making. they are blowing on 6 slopes to be open for sat

I dont want to say I heard from a "very reliable source", but a friend of mine works at sno and said that they were going to have a crew on hand tonight to make the white stuff weather permitting.

yea, thats how scranton was, down town was rain all day, as Melissa said. I had class and work in town all day and saw a few flakes maybe. When I got home (5 mins) from town, they were plowing my parking lot. crazy. snow is not setting up really, its just wet and heavy, but it seems to have just dropped hardcore, so it may setup over night.

so, up by Lake Scranton, we ended up with approx 6" or so, enough that the plows were around when I came home tonight, while 2 miles down the road, scranton got nothing. Here are some pics from my apt.

I live by Lake Scranton, and cleaned about 4 inches of my car at 7:45 and it was still coming down hard. By the the time I got to school (University of Scranton) it was nothing but rain. My buddy works on montage mtn and said it was snowing hard still at 8 30 and there was probably about 4 or 5 inches, so sno probably got that or a little more on top of the mountain. super stoked.

me and a few friends were thinking about taking a weekend trip to a bigger mountain than what we have around here (jack,sno,elk). Any suggestions? I hear Gore is pretty good, and not at crowded as killington.

sorry, can't go that low, i think 200ish is reasonable. I said the price may be negotiable, but please do not low ball me. I will certainly entertain trades if anybody has anything of value.

i could fill that little ding with ptex or epoxy if buyer desires. it looks nasty because that pic is close up and huge, but its really not that bad. I had the board shop check it out and they said the same. (not major, but could be filled in if I wanted to)

if you want more let me know. Base is in great shape no deep scratches or core shots. The top sheet has scratches on the tail from lift lines but nothing that is deep. I took a close up of a little ding in the top that actually happened over the summer, the board fell over into a dresser, again nothing major that would effect the performance. Board is great all around board, nice flex, but not too wobbly, you can pick up some good speed and remain stable.
