No offence to the new owners of sno, but their business plan seems out of whack. They're working on a waterpark when the mountain still needs some work. But hey, i didnt buy the mountain so nothing i can do about their plan

Just one more thing santa, if you cut the 13 ft pipe every morning like youre supposed to, rain wouldnt have ruined it because it would be freshly cut. I dont think sno understands the amount of labor it takes to have a good park/pipe (im not saying i understand but i have a good picture). PC grooms each of their parks and cuts their pipe every morning, and it shows because they are arguably the best park in the U.S.. Sno is too lazy to put in that much effort into a park because they are trying to do to much at once. take baby steps, make a good park, then worry about a pipe because right now neither of them are up to par.

will the pipe be cut every morning? and also, why buy all this stuff (zaugg, waterpark, etc, etc) when the still have the slowest lifts ive ever ridden?

how exactly is it hard to hit rails and jumps in the same run? You have the picnic table/flat-down option, then the first jump, then the flat rail/flat-down option, then the second jump that nobody hits, then the whale tail, next you have the 2 jump line, and finally rail garden. If you say its hard to hit jumps and rails and get enough speed, then you are saying the park has no flow. When i said it had no flow earlier in the year everyone disagreed, now when it does have a decent flow you say it has no flow? just curious to your reasoning. and thank you Nick for backing me up, he would have just kept disagreeing with me.

Santa, i never said the landings were messed up, ive been landing everything the whole day until the take offs got choppy, i just said that the second jumps landing was to small and it was hard to get the right amount of speed for it so i just stopped hitting it. and you cannot possibly look at the whale tail and rainbow and say they arent slanted to the side. also, you guys were all hype for a sick park for the past two years and have only let everyone down and youre saying how hard it is to make a park, but boulder was 0 hype and they did an amazing job on the park without paying these people millions of dollars or however much you pay neptune. you guys try to make the park so technical and its just a bunch of scattered features. boulder park is so simple, just 3 jumps and a few rails, and everybody loves it. and just out of curiosity, how come when i use some constructive criticism everyone just hates on me, but when sno mountain skier criticizes everyone just agrees with him...

alright, in my opinion i feel that in order to have such a massive pipe it has to have its own dedicated trail. nobody around here has ever seen such a big pipe, and im sorry but the snow you have for it right now is nowhere near enough. for another thing, a 22 foot pipe needs constant maintenance and from the looks of the 13 footer the other day you guys wont maintain it properly. you guys have so much room in the park and a ton of rails just laying to the side in the graveyard, yet you dont put any up. i understand that we just got a bunch of rain but they have been there all season and i saw no attempt to put any of them up. even the park is poorly maintained, the first jump today had huge rivets in it and nobody covered them up the whole day. also, the whale tail, rainbow box, and the last rail are crooked, fixing them wouldnt be a bad idea. and the jumps arent that bad, im actually impressed by them considering the rain we got, my only complaint is they could be a couple feet bigger and the second jump's landing can be bigger because its impossible to get the right speed for it, i either overshoot or case it and neither of those are fun.

i understand cannonball is the highest traffic trail, but if they cut a trail with the same headwalls it would be great. Also, it can't be up near where it is now because there would be no difference in vertical feet, which is the reason i suggested putting it on the north face in the first place, to get more speed for bigger jumps.

cannonball would be perfect for a few rails at the top, a massive jump line, then a rail garden at the end. the only reason the park on lower runaway sucked was because that was a couple years ago when nobody knew how to make a park.

the course was pretty good. But its not the donkey dick at the bottom of the stairs that screws u up, those are fun. its just that they go straight down to flat, its way to steep. if you guys find a way to make it mellower it would be such a sick rail. i still stick to my opinion of putting the main park on a steeper trail though. a nice 3-4 pack would be amazing

like mccormack said, having 4 super small jumps is so stupid. just make the first 1 how it was last year, then take the last 2 or 3 jumps and make a decently sized jump (30-35 ft) just push the snow from the last 2 jumps onto the last headwall and make a kicker about 30 ft away from it , and as far as rails go, you guys lack the basics (flat rails and boxes, down rails and boxes) things you can work with and learn new tricks with and make the lips good. right now the lips onto the rails are so small, its hard to 270 onto anything. personally, if you guys really wanted a good park, put it on a steeper trail(cannonball, runaway, fast track) spike doesn't have steep enough headwalls for any real jumps. Also, faster lifts wouldn't hurt

Most of your posts are hating on papasteeze and recently hating on my friends and I. Also, i can't wait to get out of this area and go to college in Utah; you don't need to kiss ass to your home mountain if you have expectations to leave the area. I don't understand why you didn't move out of PA if you love skiing so much. Yup. you've done plenty with your astounding life. i'm done flaming this thread, ski can go on ranting about my life

o i forgot. Any constructive criticism against sno is a sin to you. and you flame way more than me, i did on two threads because u pissed me off. Also, when i go skiing i dont say "OMG i cant wait to put this in my AMAZING TR", if i see something wrong i just point it out. therefore dont tell me to get a life because i have a great life. P.S. : Librider, it does have decent flow, but they dont have to put 3 rails on 1 headwall. I think they wasted a lot of space towards the bottom, they could have a nice rail garden if they wanted to.

i dont like the park, it was better on mainline haha....no flow either and the jumps are terrible. apparently didnt listen to anything n the terrain park thread

i went to momentum 2 years ago and it was crazy fun. most coaches there actually cared about teaching and it was a great experience. they also have their own t-bar, COC uses the public t-bar so its generally a longer wait to ride. all the camps on the glacier have real nice features, but i guess you can always poch other camps if your bored. but if you have the money i say look into all the summer camps, theres a section about the best camps in the new freeskier, and definatly go, you wont regret it.

seems like they should have blew snow while they could instead of worrying about the water park.
