I'm not "hung up" on them. I've done them before, but i was just looking for some tips on doing them, so i can get them looking (and feeling) better. I don't get to the mt. nearly enough though. (only every weekend), so i don't have a whole lot of time to mess with them, and was just looking for input. Soap shoes are the shit! I had the coolest pair, a bright blue and white pair. Haha, i still have the key for the grind plates, as well as the video that comes with them "holiday". I miss those things so bad. They were the most fun things ever

Airblaster leg bag, for those of you who haven't seen them. Although the bags are kinda stupid and overpriced, that doesn't put Travis parker down at all.

I thought it was like 46, or was it 48. You're both wrong . haha My dream rail, though it would be impossible, would be a long ass rail going down the bottom 3/4 of sidewinder, right through the middle. haha, i'd get 10 feet. OR An s rail that curves up like a c bow, going right into a rollercoaster, right into a corkscrew OR A 60 foot, maybe 6" wide street style rail? (most reasonable of the three)

I was just watching Andreas Wiig in Derelicticia, and he does some of his b/s spins off of his heel. I've never noticed/thought of this before. I thought dh was full of shit for a minute.

The wooden ones outside? Haha, i've used them before and never paid. I have some Switch Special x bindings i'll let go for 30 bucks. I only used them a few times (for obvious reasons-step ins)

haha, yeah right- like cb would do that. I hope they do though. Whenever i'm at cb, i hate to go in, leaving my board out (even when it's locked) My friend just got her goggles jacked up there on friday! I like blue's board check a lot. Hell, even if they didn't have that, they have the ski lockers for use (with your own lock) anyway. Start writing emails.

I think you can pick one up at harbor freight for like 30 bucks. But you need your own compressor. You can probably weld any plastic-not sure though. The one i'm using is fully contained, which is a few hundred bucks. (not mine though, borrowing it)

Hey doug, you post so much on here, i'm surprised that you forgot about this little buddy . Anyway, to get back on topic, winds were REALLY bad today. I saw a chair hit the tower today on the challenge lift at blue. I even rocked the safety bar, just to keep from falling out

You know, i have to disagree with that. I just got a board with a sintered base, and my base repairs look 10x better. Then again, my old board (extruded) had a white base. Any dirt showed up through the clear ptex. Also, i may just be used to repairs now, and i have been more careful. Oh yeah, and i've been using one of these bad boys. Plastic welders work the best out of anything i've ever tried (drip candles and base repair iron)

I don't know. If they put their money into expanding the mountain, they'd have to advertise about it. They would advertise about it, to pay off the debt of expansion. Then more people would come, and it'd be even worse (the lift line situation). I think it would make more sense to put in a quad where the challenge chair is first. That way, they'll be ready to handle more people when they do expand. Also, when/if they expand after that, they could always install the challenge chair somewhere else, to get even more uphill capacity.

I have to agree. You can't compare terrain parks to diamonds. On a diamond, like he said up there, you have enough time to go around them. If it's a park, you don't have so much control, especially if someone is right in your path of landing-It's a hazard to you and the person you're about to fall on top of. When you're in the air, or on a rail, you have limited control over where you're going to go-some tricks you even have to land blindly- you have to be able to trust your surroundings, but with people running wild getting in the way it can be dangerous. I'm all for park passes, even if it means an extra 5 bucks per season. Simply put, i think it's a great idea, and would promote safety. Even if they just did this, it would at least help a lot. But then again, what about enforcement? Clip your ticket?
