Personally, if i ever saw someone trying to snag my board, i'd beat the living hell out of them (or have fun trying to, anyway). It would make them think twice before stealing another board.

I guess it would be harder for me- i have drake bindings, with the disc covers. (it's only 2 more screws, but that's 2 more than a regular board. Oh man, and what if you have a burton!? That's two less!) I have an older bike lock that i thought of using. At blue and boulder, i use the ski/board check. At camel, i use the $.75 board lock.

....or use boot dryers. I picked up a pair at sports authority for like, 30 bucks. Doesn't help the stink, but prevents mildew and mold. (i think)

How the hell can people be so stupid. It's not rocket science! you don't go and sit down in the middle of a parking space-same thing for jumps. It's like playing in traffic-assholes.

Well, they used to have a pipe where jib alley is now, or so i think. They didn't have anything in there last year, and this year they have the beginner jibs. Seriously, it's like 2x6 steel capped off, and laid on the ground. I don't know how that helps anyone learn- go to a box. If they put in fan guns, and dug out the trail, they could have a decent pipe there.

The urban staircase box is really hard to judge. First time i hit it, i completely aired over the box, right to flat. You have to go uncomfortably slow to get it right. I was there today. The big park was awesome-soft snow, good takeoffs, good landings. Wasn't really liking the rails in there. The little park is fun, some gap-on, some ride-on. The beginner park is retarded (jib alley). What a waste of a trail! They should throw some smaller jumps and rails/boxes in there instead.

Okay, thanks a lot for your help. Here's my list of ideas: Park passes should be put into effect because: 1. They promote the growing sport. (not my best reason, sorry papa) 2. Terrain is preserved better,leaving a lasting impression on the visitors. 3. Liability Reasons 4. Less injuries (terrain park-related) 5. More money for mountain (Assuming that the mt. sells them) 6.Friendlier environment- No people yelling or fighting over stupid little things (<--New one) She didn't even know what a terrain park was, so she can't honestly see the viewpoints, without me pointing them out to her . I think i have a lot to work with-she's wrong.

I was gonna do the boardercross, but i don't feel like waiting. I just have an itch to ride. I'll be going to BB instead of blue this weekend.

I'm looking for 3 main arguments. 3 main ideas-make a paragraph for each to convince the reader that park passes should be used. 1.Safety 2.Better terrain conditions (will tie into safety) 3.Rental equipment damage (Rental rockers gouging their boards) 4.Less probability of lawsuits against mt. 5.Less injuries 6.More money for mt. (assuming they cost money) I need more to pick from. EDIT: Does anyone know the contact email address for MC. Their site is super slow- practically not working. Maybe it's just me?

In english class we're starting a unit on persuasive writing. For my topic, i picked park passes. (trying to convince people they should be put into action). Only problem is- my teacher doesn't think it's strong enough of an argument and that i can't find statistics anywhere . She did say, however, that i can write my paper on it if i give her the three main supporting details on it by tomorrow. I can think of a bunch, but some of them aren't that strong. If anyone has any ideas, post them. Help me prove my teacher wrong

It's actually base material. It's just slightly lower grade base material that you melt into the base to patch it up. It takes a little bit to get used to it, but after that it works like a charm.

Haha, they do have the anti-microbial liners! They still stink. I blasted them with lysol, and they're smelling better. Just one more shot and i should be good.
