    Whitewater kayak

sweet i was thinking of starting this next year. how did you learn and where are some good creeks/rivers around pa? i just got back from kayaking on a slow river with my dad. that shit bores me to tears...
  3. no but i heard some inspirational music in the backround...

    Which Board?

how does it handle all mountain riding?
  5. so i have been developing my backyard park, and i have some carpet. im curious how you get ice rink snow? do you just show up at a rink and ask?
  6. sounds like fun im gonna try to make it out.
  7. hey guys, so i decided on my board, now im looking for a decent pair of all mountain binders. dont want to spend to much. maybe 150ish or something around that price range...

    Which Board?

yea i think i am going with the evo. in all reality im more bummed when i have trouble doing black diamonds to keep up with friends on skis on a park board than when i cant press on a box as much with a slightly stiffer board...

    Which Board?

they are all available at my shop. thats why i chose those! the primo comes with a free lift ticket and more flexy and costs less, but the evo has a 3 year warranty. im really not sure.
  10. yea i think it will be late november-early december. you have to think that last year was incredible how early they opened. its not like other things such as rails and stuff that you can keep making better and uping the ante. its entirely weather dependent. it would be awesome if they opened during thanks giving cuz there is a break then.

    Which Board?

I should mention this: I want a really soft board good for the park but also good all around riding. thats why i like the NS evo becuase it has the rocker for the park but also the normal shape on the outside for better stability at high speed.

    Which Board?

hey guys. i was at spectrum today talkin to one of the guys. I narrowed down my board choices to these: Never Summer Evo-$450 Rome Artifact-$380, 1985-$400 Burton Primo-$380\ right now im leaning towards the NEver Summer board because it comes with a 3 year warranty and has an awesome shape.

    Socks?

i had the same issue. i wear thin soccer socks. they are nike dri-somethings or something like that
  14. when will big boulder officially be open? will they be open tomorrow?
  15. I agree i think that would be such a great addition. and maybe they could have one of those things where you have to prove you can do stuff like at camelback so its not tools just riding up and strolling through the park
  16. im interested in the specs (goggles). can you ship and would you do $40 for them?
  17. anything reviews or things i should worry about for the burton cartels and c60s?
  18. i was thinking for boards either capita stairmaster 144, Rome Artifact 1985 (rocker, 145), or Forum Youngblood 145 (youth) for bindings im not very sure. i want an all mountain-ish one but one i can still ride park with. there are awesome deals on burton c60 and cartels. no clue on boots but id like something with BOA lacing or something like it.
  19. so i think i have decided on my board. now i am looking at boots and bindings. i want last years stuff cuz its cheap. i was thinkin like 150 $ for bindings and $110 for boots. i dont want normal laces tho so maybe 130ish? idk. post what u think is good.

    Park Snowboard

    I weigh like 105 (I'm 13, jeeez) so maybe a youth board?
  21. I am selling a sector nine longboard. it rolls incredibly smooth and fast thanks to a (upgraded) set of ABEC-7 (i think, maybe 9) bearings. i got it for i think $175 and will sell it for $50. if u want pics message me email me or actually just reply to this thread. Julz
  22. im not looking for an argument but if there was for of a consistent up-keep during the day i think it would help. i have spent whole days at BB and BC on very similar snow conditions and BB had much nicer landings and it was more crowded that day then at BC.
  23. yea bear's crew was lazy this past year i think. at BB you see the park crew working on the landings, take offs, and rails a couple times a day. once at BC the landing off of the rails was a 2 foot bowl down to the DIRT.
  24. is it for skiers or boarders or does it not matteR?
