who is your source? and i think i prefer a bunch of mountains open a little later in the season than just 1 early on. it should spread things out a bit. also im pretty sure BB won't just have freedom open if they are blowing snow all this week

i do not know to much about the ski resort business, but would there be any reason for BB or any ski resort to not make as much snow as possible when they can? it seems like the more the better?

does any one know if they make binding screws that are made for an allen key not a philips head screwdriver? i swap around my bindings pretty frequently and I am afraid i wont be able to remove my screws sometime.

yea camelback is fun midweek cuz there are so little crowds, the trails are in good shape, and you can just bomb every thing. but if it is on a weekend hands down. i think every one has been saying the same thing MID-WEEK= Camelback WEEKEND= Sno

the custom will probably cost less than the repair. it might be worth it temporarily. and some good inserts i use on my bike shoes are "super feet". they make a ton of different types with different firm-ness.

since i there not going to open on a weekday. and if the weather permits to blow snow all week, we might see a couple trails open opening day

depending on where you live it might just be worth waiting for BB to open and not make such a long trip. personally i would prefer to visit killington or other VT mountains in january-february because snow will be better
