  1. Hello, We are having a rail jam this Sunday, October 19 at 6:00 PM. This event was themed "BOXTOBER" because our plan was to have the new box installed to have two boxes in operation. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the box will not be done for this event. So the setup will be the 20' box and the 24' rail. We will have the unfinished box on display to wet your appetite for the next few events. Remember our big comp jam is on Sunday, November 2 at 4:00 PM!! Later... PARK 1260
  2. Good times, good turnout. It was nice to see some old faces as well as a bunch of new ones. Next jam is in 2 weeks, we are trying hard to get the new box done by then. If anyone has a line on some wholesale prices on industrial plastics, let me know. We are looking for a 4x8' or 4x10' sheet of UHMW either 3/8" or 1/2" thick. As always, we are in desperate need of wood chips... from one bag to 50 tons!
  3. People will start showing up at around 5pm, we will not start the comp until around 7pm. Most people tend to show up late. Pretty much, yes. They are a lot of fun. Sliding on the carpet is different, but you get used to it pretty quick.... usually quicker for skiers than snowboarders.
  4. Oh, also... if you are in the area and you have access to rink-snow or wood chips, try and bring some up. All donations from this event are going towards our new feature coming out later this month!
  5. yeah, should be a good time... plus the weather looks pretty nice
  6. Haha, I did not know you were on here... but I recognize those pants!
  7. Hello Everyone, Unfortunately we will have to postpone the comp scheduled for this Sunday 9/21/8. This is due to a recently evolved schedule conflict. There is a possibility that may be able to put a small jam together after it gets dark, but I will not know until later on Sunday. In the meantime we have revised the schedule of events for the rest of the season. [2008 REVISED SCHEDULE OF EVENTS] Sun 10/05 @ 5pm - "A RAIL COMP", come out and compete on the 24' A-frame Sun 10/19 @ 6pm - "BOXTOBER" JAM, nothing but boxes at this jam Sat 10/25 @ 7pm - "UNDER THE LIGHTS" JAM, we have plenty of lights for this one Sun 11/02 @ 4pm - "HALLOWEEN COMP", 2nd annual Halloween competition Sat 11/15 @ 5pm - "SNOWVEMBER" JAM, work on new tricks & join our snow dance around the fire Fri 11/28 @ 3pm - "T-DAY COMP", 4th annual Thanksgiving event and competition Sat 12/06 @ 6pm - "EMERGENCY" JAM, just in case we are not as lucky as 2007 Sun 12/14 @ 2pm - "JONES" JAM, we will really really need this one if we still do not have snow! Thanks PARK 1260
  8. Sorry for the confusion, this should read: Well, the "summer season" is finally over and it is time to start getting ready for winter. Our next rail jam is on September 7th.
  9. Well, the "summer season" is finally over and it is time to start getting ready for winter. Our next rail jam in on September 6th. The theme of this event is "old school". Bring the oldest snowboard or set of skis and see if you can slide them on the features. I have a pair of old straight Olins that someone can borrow :-) Bring your friends, stay for a couple hours... get started on some new tricks for the 08/09 season. Check out www.twelve60.com for our event schedule.
  10. Ahhh, what I could do with 4 triaxles of chips... We use wood chips on one of them, and the other we have a wooden ramp with carpet on it and then we can use ice rink snow to replace that one when we have it.

  15. T-DAY RAIL JAM - THIS FRIDAY 11/23/07 @ 5pm We could not find a day that everyone agreed upon, so we have decided it will be on Friday starting around 5pm. If you can only make it on Saturday, let me know and if there are enough people interested we will have one then as well. This will be the last jam for the season. Hopefully it will get and stay cold and all the area mountains will be open in a few weeks. Check out www.twelve60.com for information during the winter. We just gave it a facelift and added some more content. Thanks! 1260
  16. Hello, We are having a rail jam this Saturday 11/10/07. We will start a little earlier this time so that those of you that wanted to go to the Level 1 premiere at Blue Mountain can get there on time. Figure on starting around 3pm and going until around 7pm. If we are lucky it will be cold enough for some things to freeze. It looks like we may have 2 more jams including this one. Of course if the weather is horrible in December, we may have one or two more. We are already lining up sponsors for the Thanksgiving jam. Red Bull and Freeskier magazine have already committed and we will have a few more before the event. Please let us know what day on Thanksgiving weekend works best for you... Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? Thanks! 1260
