  1. I once was hanging w/ bumper friend who we affectionately nicknamed ‘Tito’ after the potato drink at the fancy bar up top. Must have dropped $150 on said potato drinks. Rough morning at blue the true the next day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. MA has a negative test that was administered within 3 days of you traveling there. So the trick is to get tested and if you manage to get the test results within 68 hours to drive like hell to cross the boarder [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Or more likely “say” you quarantined at home for 14 days... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Cold water or in fridge. I’m guessing because I cut into individual servings instead of leaving in bigger sections Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I used to do that but stopped because when I thawed the meat a lot of the blood came out so steals were dry. Curious what do you do to prevent that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Kudos. Your gonna have steel pistons for legs this ski season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 20 min wait to get into Trader Joe’s cause they are limiting access just like back in the spring. Oh yay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I have probably 25+ days at WF. Not a ton but enough to see the good bad and the ugly. Thing about WF is even at ugly, you can find a pod that skis pretty damn good because basically the hill has aspects in all directions and the freakin temps there enable them to blow snow pretty much non stop. So if your working the mid mountain lift off of little WF, that’s ~ .8k of vert that you can lap constantly that may be glorious (they constantly blow snow there as that’s where most of their comps are). If your lapping WF proper.... boy that’s a workout as that’s 3k/run and maybe only 1k is glorious and the other 2k is fuk-shit snow. And like most bigger hills, when conditions permit WF has plenty of trees Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Geez... not even Thanksgiving yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I luv me WF. Salty can suck it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. Welp... jersey is at April peak #’s and you guys are in uncharted territory. “Good” news here is deaths still way down (lagging indicator but fingers crossed). I have still yet to purchase my blue season pass. Back in spring not in mood. Ok with paying walk-up price for pass this year and will do so once the season starts. Enjoy the extra 3-hundo Barb. Non ski related but only saving grace is this fall has been a slamming surf season in the NE. Hope it keeps up this winter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Covid was always gonna be bad. But it did not have to be THIS bad. (apologies in advance to JLaw because my “wall of text” is not worthy…) Testing – instead of a cohesive national plan of the federal government coordinating the distribution of test kits to be available for heavily hit areas and oversee a national testing infrastructure and develop a national surveillance system, trump basically refused to implement because he understood that more testing would lead to more confirmed cases. While we have come around on testing the most useful metric is tests available per infected person where we suck. We trail such enlightened countries such as Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan!!!!) and Ethiopia. PPE – right from the beginning the feds were slow to focus on accumulating PPE. Despite multiple administration officials calling for a massive investment in protective equipment in February and despite the federal government having the legal power to spur manufacturers to crank out masks, gowns and face shields, it didn’t happen. But hey – we got garbage bags, right? Remember when the white house implemented policies where the states were bidding against each other to obtain PPE? Brilliant!!! Free-market forces will cure all (see above gripe about coherent national policy). Leadership – This is the big Kahuna right here. What could have been a central message to establish a “we are all in this together” mentality, trump decided to turn into a Seussian star-bellied vs plain-bellied sneetch thing to play to his base. Yeah, maybe masks work (but they might get you sick, ami right?) Republican states know what they are doing – don’t listen to democratic states…Science if it makes the numbers look bad or tries to warn folks is ignored or worse – the proponents are fired from the fed (google what happened to Messonnier or Bright if you need examples). So basically the messaging is more important than science. Cross trump and you go. Trump knew this was gonna be REAL BAD back in februaru but refused to warn the nation how dire things will become (It will all go away by easter) because he knew it would blow his election chances up. So lets play a game where we adjust the death rate from covid to be proportional to the population. Europe is bad now as are other areas around the globe, but it should not be this bad. If adjusted to Europe US death toll is 84k in excess. If adjusted to Canada it is >100k in excess. If adjusted to Germany it is >150k in excess. And so on. I’ll let that sink in. Ok, to paraphrase the NEJM, trump has taken a crisis and turned it into a tragedy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Working now. Be happy to address later Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Well, the current administration’s dumpster fire of an approach on covid has a silver lining - current clin trials can reach a conclusion much faster now so the timing of this announcement is no surprise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Agree no lockdown unless hospitals get maxed. Heard immunity??? To lazy to crunch numbers but I doubt it. Go with low bar of 60% and assume no one leaves their county but even that... please (I’m begging) tell me I’m wrong Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
