If you were at Blue on 1/4 during the A.M. session i'm sure I have shots of you as I was out snapping with the new DSLR with the telephoto lens. Still getting use to it. Here's some pics! still a newbee with DSLR's. getting there tho. light room 3 will clean a lot of the distortion outta the pics once i get it. hope ya enjoy um! if you were at blue during this session P.M. the forecast for whiteface is BOMBING! 2-4 today, 2-4 tonite, 8-12 tomorrow, 1-2 tomorrow night! would have drove up there if i knew for sure my classes would be canceled tomorrow and thursday. doubt that though what a forecast! prolly will be packed as hell with world cup coming up. summit quad has been down for a few days now.

Wow people are really starting to talk this storm up it seems. Was in walmart today and must have heard about 5-6 people talking how this storm could produce 1-2ft. Must be reading on the hype machine ok by me! added stoke!

Hope you get dumped on at whiteface! Was there a few weeks ago. Got really good the last 3 days. They have about 80% of their terrain open now! Blowing snow 24 hrs a day. World cup is there in the beginning of feb.

Interesting facts! Revelstoke says there's is 600" a year.

That makes sense. I checked kicking horse's annual snow totals and they are around 300". Place looks epic!

Who am i? Im Randy. People call me Skip though. Wish I could go tomorrow morning but I work at 930am. I'll have to check my schedule for next weekend. Weekends are weird for me. Next time I head up to blue I'll let you know. I mostly go during week days because I usually work weekends. Plus so crowded and rates are much higher on weekends.

Place looks so cowboy! I worry though with those BC areas and their unusual high temps. Wondering if it was like another Whistler where it's hit or miss with the precep. My gf went to Whistler a few years ago and said it was horrible. Rained every day mid mountain-base. Was just curious if anyone has been here. Looks like a fun place. Not to thrilled the closest airport is almost 3 hrs away though! Maybe it'd be all worth the wait!
