  1. eitz said the timetable approved Jan. 24 by Federal Bankruptcy Court Judge Jean FitzSimon set a bid deadline of Feb. 25 for interested parties looking to acquire the 440-acre property and its assets. Seitz said the bids will be reviewed, and the ability to close on the property will be a deciding factor as to whether those entities will be invited to a private auction of the complex that will take place three days later. At that event, the highest bid from the sealed bids will be revealed and other bidders will have a chance to increase their bids in an auction-style sale. Then the new high bid will go back before FitzSimon for approval or denial on March 6. With this timetable I could see it happening though unlikley
  2. If you can get to sno on a tuesday it is a no brainer
  3. It is obvious that the long haul lift needs a new motor Other than that I think the place is in move in condition right now Then they can make improvments.
  4. I agree it could be a good thing They would be in a ggod finacial position and not have to take everything they bring in just to try and pay debt. I just hope they would not bee too expensive
  5. Someone I rode the lift this weekend told me that camelback purchased sno and he even had some numbers. I have no idea if true and whether it would be a good thing or not Any info or opionions
  6. the whole mountain is open they may close the long hall lift but you can still ski the whole mt
  7. borrow one from somebody and you only really have to wear it untill you get the ticket
  8. They have a even better deal too $20 all day ticket with to any with a 49 or ravens jersey on
  9. the amount of trails vs skiers/ riders is so big that almost all trails always feel empty once everyone gets spread out and the bar and lodge both have a lot of room too Food in the bar area is good and reasonably priced too
  10. According to their Facebook they started blowing snow tonight
  11. Just to be clear I dont need to be convinced Sno did that this season with the improvements made already and the effort in snow making with the terrable weather this year. I was refering to the public perception of people who dont go there. I can't begin to count how many times after telling someone about skiing at sno their responce would be " i didnt think they would still be open" and I would say the problems were behind them. Some good press about the future would hopefully change the public image. I had a great time every weekend and a couple tuesday nights this year and I am thinking about getting passes for next year based on this year
  12. while a high speed lift would be nice I think that would be way down the road. What I think you can do is expand the terrain park to at least another trial have a big park and smalleler one Snake was basically unused at all this year so that would be a great spot andit was there in the past and is fun to watch from the lift. get rid o the parking lot ***** or at least tell them not to give people hard times when they want to park somewhere else or at the far end of the lot when there are spots open closer. As far as the summer keep pushing for that skatepark Most important put a end to any rumors of closing or problems
  13. $30 9 to 9 on sat and sunday too
  14. always looking to try new fun places What does blue have to make it worth the ride How is the air bag thing
  15. Went to sno yesterday like I do almost every Saturday and even though I wasnt feeling great I had a good time as usual so i ask Where else could have I have gone to do all of the following. Race a good NASTAR course, Ski some very steep terain, KIds could ride a good terrain park,( i will give up the fact that boulder has better parks but that is all they have), have pictures taken for free and posted on their site and free to copy, have a good meal and reasonably priced beers in the sno grill. I could go on. All said Sno has become the best overall mt around they have battled the weather all year and done a great job of snowmaking and grooming to make conditions as good as possible.
  16. This though came to me yesterday while heading back to the lodge on a beginer trail and the kid was going fast I told him to slow down because it wasnt the place to go fast. I am sure the ski patrol would do the same and they should they also should be there to tell people where not to go slow and stop and fall in front of jumps they are not jumping. Both are equally wrong
  17. I know last year it was $10 to get a pass and that kept us away from trying the place out While $10 isnt alot of the courswe of a season, when you are thinking about checking a place out and one is 10 more per person we decided not to go.Sno made a big step in the right direction this year by moving the park Boulder is all Park so there is not much for the newbies to do other than get in the way Jack Frost has there park just out ot he lodge and that is where I know of a little kid who couldn't even get down cut right in front of a jump and got landed on thankfully he was not hurt bad
  18. When I posted this I was not refering to people who are leaning how to ride park stuff I am most concened about the people who dont even belong off the bunny hill in there
  19. While I am not a terian park guy my kids are so I spend a fai amont of time on the sides of them and have seen way to many accident causes by first time skiers and borders in th the terrian park falling infront of jump and getting landed on or run into. All terian parks should be posted as expert terrain only and ski patrol should do a better job of keeping the beginers on the beginer slopes. I am not at all complaing about people who are learning how to do stuff in the parks but you should be able to contol yourself on the mt before you are in there. This is a problem at everyplace i have been to with the exception of Elk where there park is roped off in a seperate area and no rentals are allowed.
  20. Sno has done an incredible job of keeping the condition great this year considering the weather Yea it may ice up at night a little after a warm day I have been to sno every sat this year except for last week and have had a great time everytime. I cant think of a resort that regrooms for the night sesion If they did people would complaiun that the trail was closed. Can't wait to go tomorrow 12 -10 do some NASTAR hit up the steepest trails around have some good food $10 pasta bar some resonably priced beers and try to keep up with the kid in the terain park
  21. The post for the event here and on facebook both say all day tickets for 59 here and 50 on facebook for 4 all day tickets I suggest you fix it or else there will be a lot of people expecting that price on sat morning
  22. Does this event mean the terain park will be closed all day to everyone else and what exactly do you mean by Group of 4, all day passes for $59!" that sounds too good to be true
