You never know when you're going to get bottle topped by Toast.
BMtrubs is the one you need to be worried about. Not only does he top your bottle but he shatters it at the same time.

If you sit alot, like during camping I could see a need because even a 20/20 pant will get wet but skiing your mostly standing....
If it's dumping and your sitting in snow every lift ride it'll soak through.

If you have a board already and don't mind turning it into a splitboard you could send it to this guy. He does excellent work. http://customsplitboards.com/
He did Travis Rice's split boards when he filmed for Deeper. It's a bit pricey but i've never heard a single complaint about him. But exactly like Law said. You want something that's not going to fail you when you need it most.

The best I can do from today:
I see i got people on a golden monkey kick.

If your worrying about spending money splitting may not be for you then. It's expensive no matter how you look at it. A splitboard is going to be something you have for awhile so why skimp on it. Even if you get a good deal on a board you still looking at well over a 1000 for a nice set up.

Look into venture, they make really nice stuff. Bindings i'd look at sparks R&D bindings

That's not a lot for a western resort.
Mt Baker is like 1500 vert, and as long as it isn't raining that place is the shit. Vertical drop doesn't mean shit.

I don't ski so my opinion is probably worth nothing but he clearly stated that he had hellbents and feels that they are too playful. Hellbent is as powder ski as you can get unless your into that reverse/reverse shit.
So maybe he's looking for something that has a bit of camber underfoot.
Different strokes for different folks.

What the fuck like this site needs more moderators. Hopefully he takes over for -Dan, Kragan and Toast
Once his vote is in, you might be gone for a year. Poll is up now.

Id like to do it, but its not worth the $100ish to join USASA.
I would to but it's not worth 100 to enter if thats the case.

Jumps were fuckin money yesterday

In terms of steepness most of powmow is flat as fuck though. Although i don't care how flat that place is, i still love it.

They were pushing snow around all day yesterday. Still nothing in place but a bunch of landings.

The lodge on the other had has been closed every morning weekday i've been there for the past month. It says on the site that the valley lodge opens at 3:30 during the week, obviously they are trying to cut back and save some money with this lackluster season.

The bottom lot was not closed. I got there at 845, drove right by the security guard and parked, nothing was said. When i left around 1.30, they smiled and waved good bye.

Ahhh, jealous right now. Wish i was getting out of Pa. Hopefully these cycles continue into March, Although Blue was pretty damn fun today.

Yup that was me.

Bump. I'll sell this with bindings which are Burton Cartels. They have had there fair share of use but still work fine. I'd like to get 250 for the board/bindings.

I didn't read the whole thread but from what i did you guys are missing the point. The season pass holders from other places may not be renting but they have friends, and their friends may be renting, they'll be buying tickets, and eating.

Actually, I'd say the opposite is true. I haven't seen any 'sickbird' action shots coming from ANY of your trips.
Case and point:
Beg to differ. When John and I went to Jackson, pretty sure some good shots were posted up.
Normally too busy riding to stop and take pictures.

it poured 99% of the time when we were in washington and i still think we got more snow out there than PA got last winter.
The sad part is Baker has a base in december that other resorts pray to have in march. But nah, they don't need to make that least. Bunk resorts in colorado that average 300 inches a year make it instead. Media at it's finest.
On a side note, i wanna go back to baker. I don't even care if it's snowing as long as it isn't raining.

I had a blast up there yesterday. Rode for a solid 5 hours.

Conditions weren't bad. Seen worse. Snow was softening as the sun was hitting it.
