seemd to be set up alright last night. whatever u want to call it, its the opposite of mellow. its really not very long, and from top to bottom is prolly 6 feet? so its pretty freakin hard to boardslide, i tried it a couple of times but came off at the bottom of the rainbow.. hm. 5050 to 180 or 3 out was fun, but the whole 5050-the-box thing seemed gay so I quit it. Back to the more normal rainbow rail or flatdown box. So yeah the novelty has totally worn off on me.

uh yeah basically they film instructors and crew and people tat are associated with Blue. another random person here or there might make it in the background. but im gonna be there tomorrow, i almost wish they WERENT shooting just cause they sorta get in the way if your not "with" them. whatevah

the other two "big ones" are now prolly shorter than they were before.. as in closer to the landing. but THE big one... definitely > 60'.and all of the actual kickers.. cheese wedges are about 7 to 8' tall . pretty wild. only problem i see is lots of people cutting across onto the lanidngs. thats the only reason i didnt try em out last night. i had fun on those two tables in the middle.. plus theyr a good size for learning stuff. the battlship box is now sort of gap on.. its really small gap, but it got rEALLY rutted up last night by peopole jumping off the side, you couldnt hit the battleship straight after that. nice 4' (horizontal.. prolly 1' vertical) gap to the kink box. nice and smoooooooooth. and one thing that i was lovin.. the sorta spine/pyramid thinger.. nice and vert. now you can actually do some real trickses off of it. handplant off the top was so much fun. blue... i'm lovin it!

my source said rollercoaster box and rainbow box, but didnt think the latter would be ready this week. i sort of agree with the rollercoaster being unnecessary and just a novelty thing, but the rainbow should be shweeeeeeeet.

Keith is the man, yo. ive known that guy since before i started snowboarding. hes all about the park and he knows whats up. get some good snow and he'll have it rockin.

i shoot som video with my friends and bros, only like 2 or 3 runs each time im up but... i have SOOOO much footage of them getting cut off, i think at the end of the season im going to put together a full length feature (of the cut-offs)

haha i just went on BCs website and loookd at the controllable webcam thinger.. hahaha and gues waht i see... three skiers rolling over the lip on one of the jumps... just thot it was funny, i dont even have to be there to get pissed off at people now.

imo, we shouldnt be fighting about this. everyone can be proud of their mountain and thats cool, but we all love the park and should just shill out. and i think a little freindly competition between mountains is good, it will push them to progress, but its nothing to realy get ANGRY over. everybody will always have their own opinion, but hey thats what makes life cool. how boring would it be if everybody thought the exact same thing. parks probably wouldnt even exist. so spread the love. live to ride, ride to die.

the best ones are when they dont know the stairs are there... they go and expect it to be snow, and right when they reach the top theres a scream of terrror.. hahaha but noone gets hurt so its all good. i was starting to do bs lipslides on the box on the stairs...... holy crap that was scary the first time... as well as like 5 times after that. but it was definitely good to ride with some of my friends that are better than me... pushed me to try more shtuff like that. yknow whats rockin, the cbox they put in on the hip... sure its fun to boardslide it or whatever, but u 5050 that and just lean back and let that take you around..... such a rush. welll ill be around. hopefully i can hook up and ride with some of yall.. actualy i probably already have w/o knowing it. i know those two crazy ass amazing skiers (sorry forget ur names) were riding w/ i group i was shillin with on sunday. but yeah. later.

as to 9s and 10s... haha im no where near that yet im working on my 7. but i know boarders at blue that shtomp 9s and were gettin close to 10s (last time i checkd).. and i dunno if anybody saw them but on wednesday (12/28)a bunch of them were filming for a commercial for Blue. and.. i agree about putting the rails in as soon as possible. this year i was really slow getting back into slidin stuff, and i have no problem w/ leaving all the boxes in, but they need to add the rails.wheres the progression? hahaha and i just have to say i always cheer for those snowboarders who 5050 the battleship box (or any other box) thats like 3 times as wide as their board, and then act like they own the mt... and what jibophonic said about people hittin the flat down box and then going off the side of the table... hahaha i saw someone do that on wednesday night... this boarder did exactly that, and a skier comes flying over the table right into the boarder and takes him out.... coulda been REALLY serious but fortunately noone was hurt. hopefully a lesson learned. the only problem imo with the first booter in the park is that the trail is so narrow there, and the whole slope is level with the landing. it would be all right but all the people that dont belong in the park just go around the kicker and ride down through the middle of the landing. even when someones spotting the landing and telling people to stay out of the way, i almost landed on people multiple times cause they just cut right back in.. only solution would be widen the trail but that wil have to wait for next year i guess. definitely agree with everyone though about the park being much better than previously. keep it comin, blue.
