setup for the box was too vert, it really threw you up, yet no one could gap the flat.. just made it hard for me to do stuff ive practiced and dialed... some shredders really got it on though. stilll a goood time. like everybody said lots of free stuff...

i remember a few years ago watching some comp, they had a flat rail with a big (6' vertical) gap and it was called the sex change rail...

ughh crazy windy today but everything was set up nice, a little icy in some spots but mostly good oh and my boy josh did the whole S double kink box... i think the uphill wind kept him on haha but it was sick, first time ive seen it done

yeah. what you said. haha buuut for real, while a lot of gapers still come into the park, the steps do discourage a lot of people who would normally just ride right through, it IS noticeably less crowded in the park, even if its not perfect.

c is possible, as justo said hit it slow, really a lot slower than you would think... once you get teh speed its pretty simple. the s... jeez.. like everybody said i think its impossible

snowboarders, dont strap both feet in when you get off the lift. its a short ride to the steps, it makes no sense to strap in before getting there, and its faster to unstrap your front foot and just walk up then. so stop complaining my bro suggested putting a railing up the middle of the steps so people cant sidestep/hop up the stairs while strapped/clicked in.... but there will still be plenty of room to walk up. sound pretty good to me. and get cheesegrater steps so that those who do hop up shred theyr sticks, hah. im not sure if this is on the other smartstyle signs, but on the ones at sidewinder, theres a line that says "freestyle skills REQUIRED" i point that out everytime i have a "discussion" with people about whether they should be in the park.. go practice up in the small parks and come back if you want to that bad.

i was riding today... they got a lot of work done in the park from what i could see. there are things i could complain about... like the wall... so its twice as high now? think again... they covered almost all of it with snow... gahhh.. and the 2kink sbox will put you right in the woods if you come off early.. oh well more motivation to own it haha. but im excited for the park to open, ill be up tomorrow night

yeahhh brah pow is freakin GNARly, just like two weeks ago i hit up NJ for some waves, they told us it was dangerous bc of the wind, but they were pussy, it was basically Maui mannn , yeah hang loooose gahh those freak injuries suck i hope ski patrol doesnt start being gay in the park or anything..

mostly agree with you, step downs cant have much pop, but then the wedge should have a little more height..

agreed it was pretty decent.... i was thinking the takeoffs could have had a little more vert.. but then again they were small so i guess you cant do too much. generally i was pleased with what you guys had up

wider lips sound good... with the wider trail, also have 2 or 3 rails set up side by side so that people have an option, cutting down on lines, and spreading out traffic on the lip and landing for every rail. as far as jumps go, with the sort of handicapped snow condition that well probably be facing, id rather see 2 or 3 good jumps well built than 5 or 6 crappers.. knah mean?
