my friend switched from blades to ski last year, and he didn't seem to have any trouble at all... :)

It should be easier to ballence, just start off with shorter skis, so you don't have to worry about crossing your tips

i switched from skiblades to skis last year. Its not hard AT ALL to switch. My first day on skis i was already trying rails. Just buy skis within the 150-160cm and ull be fine.

Damn, don't you ever get tired of being so bitter and sarcastic?

If he wants to play on baby ski's then that's up to him. During the summer he can put on his little flouro lycra shorts and his rollerblades and he and his friends

:gaygiggle: won't even miss the snow.

As long as he doesn't air off the sides of the lips I could care less what he does. It's not that hard to switch. Even though you already switched. My main problem was stopping sideways. I would always just turn and go that direction.
