Well, I finally made it to Elk on Wednesday....and I loved it :rock . The snow stayed consistant the whole day and the grooming was outstanding. There were none of the typical lumps that you normally find later in the day. The trails also were a pleasant surprise...they seemed like they never ended. I'm definately going to try to get to Elk more often. :woot

I totally agree, however Steven gripes about the lack of parks so much, that he has effectively persuaded us from returning this year. Can anyone tell us what features are there this year?

I don't really recall...But it looked like a few Tabletops (not huge, not tiny)...and maybe a few rails....Didn't look like the best park, but there weren't a lot of n00bs around there either...

I skied there this morning. Fantastic conditions. I wasn't first one up the mountain, but I was first one to make tracks down Kickapoo. Only turned where I had to :D
