bigdaddyk Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 (edited) Just got back from Elk. The morning started off cold, breezy, and snowy. It was 33 at 8:30, with light snow falling. They got a dusting. I ended up using my old skis, because I wasn't sure what to expect, with the light coating of snow covering everything. I probably would have been ok with my good skis, since they still have a decent amount of snow. I stayed on the east side, even though the west side was open and they had 15 trails open. There were a few holes, toward the base area near Susquehanna, but overall it is in good shape. By 11, it cleared up.
