i fucking love graff, ever since i was a kid. seeing it on a daily basis is one of the things i miss most about living in the city. unfortunaely there are legal consequences to writing your name on the wall, so while i no longer bomb, i still try to follow the scene online and see who is currently getting up.

 

since this thread was turning into a potential beef (which then fizzled out), i posted some pics of beef.

That's cool.

Had the opposite effect on me. Sometimes staying with my grandparents as a kid in nyc in the 70s the subway cars depressed the hell out of me

late 70's early 80's were the golden age of graffiti. nowadays if trains get graffiti, the MTA pulls them out of service. in the past week multiple yards have actually gotten bombed, most likely by European writers who come to bomb where it all started

Crazy. Hope they have the curtesy to spray paint in English
