PA Cup Dates

I just got this off the PARA site... These are the dates and locations for all the PA Cups, but not the smaller races.

 

Jan 21 PA Cup #1 GS Blue Mountain

 

Jan 22 PA Cup #2 GS Camelback

 

Feb 4 & 5 PA Cup #3 & 4 SL 7 Springs

 

Feb 17 - 19 J3 Derby SG, GS, SL 7 Springs

 

Feb 25 & 26 J4/5 Derby SL, GS Ski Roundtop

 

Mar 3 - 5 J1/2 Finals GS, SL, GS Elk

Thanks - I wanted to find some info also to add to the calendar posts on who PARA is etc etc.. I am looking to you for leads on any and all race events. Thanks again.

Here are the NY State early season point chaser dates for J1/2's and second-year J3's:

 

12-15 Whiteface SL

12-16 Whiteface GS

12-22 Gore SG

12-23 Gore SG#2

12-23 Swain GS

12-24 Brantling SL/SL

3 years ago they had one of the PA Cup races at CB and one at Blue (same thing they are doing this year). Gives everyone a little change. Its gonna be my first time racing down cliffy

 

 

There was also a rumor about having another J3 SL race there this year.

It looks like on the 10th and 11th there is a race at Okemo, and Killington, and more races in VT on the 17/18th

I think it alternates, one year J3, the next year J1/J2.

Siblet came in third one of the times she raced Cliffy. I think she was a J3 for that one. She didn't place quite as well when it was a cup race, but I know all three times she was so comfortable on the hill, that she enjoyed it. (2003 had two cup races at CB.) Also, those two races in 2003 were her best races of the season due to home field advantage.

ya last year, camelback was my best race, thats what got me into the derbies

I added the 6 PA dates to our calendar along with a link to who what PARA is.. All you racers, let people know that PASR is repping the racing community!!

 

Should the New York dates be added too?

Why not, early season trips up north seem to be an essential for the pa racer.
