1/9/26…very nice and empty…warm

Hey All,

 

I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 830am and the temperature was in the mid 30s and rising under partly cloudy skies. In the house were Johnny Law, Charles, Nastar Glenn, Harold, Kumar, Greg, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Rodney, Oz and maybe 200 other people.  I big change from last weekends crowds. 
 

The Quad and Super summit safari six were running and me and JLaw were second or third civilian quad. Law went to nightmare dreamweaver and I went to paradise for the first run. It was decent softish cord…next I skied razors which was way better than expected. The top headwall was semi firm but the middle section was beautiful soft and smooth.  Skied razors again then Main Street which was ok.  The bottom part was like a milkshake without much milk…thick. 
 

After Main Street hit switchback which was nice and smooth then lazy which was empty and nice to the falls which is still pretty bad.  Then we skied coming soon which wasn’t that good, cruddy and uneven, then sidewinder which had a ton of root rollers and Herky Jerky, back to razors which was still real good and tiny tenth and final run down paradise which was empty and semi spring snow.  All in all way better than expected.  I was expecting it to be empty with rain in today’s forecast but didn’t think the snow would be so good.  
 

Now at work for hopefully one of the shortest work days or hours ever..just gotta pay some bills and check voicemails. Ski most of tomorrow.  JADIP

Today was way better than i thought it would be and with the nice weather it was a solid 7 kinda day. 

As GSS said the snow was only ok but vastly better than yesterday morning hopefully a taste of what's coming this weekend.

Snow was better than ok especially with what I was expecting.  We might just catch lightning in a bottle this weekend with low crowds and nice snow.  Plus everything is open so players choice takes on a whole new meaning.
