Pretty much Groundhog Day with the big high pressure lingering over the West, another bluebird day and only snow falling is back at Blue Mountain!

Kinda chilly to start at about 28 degrees and the place is empty because most out here are powder jaded and would rather do other things if there’s no new snow.

Groomers were perfect packed cord and lightning fast.  Came over a rise on what I thought would be another groomed slope and I was immediately transported back to Blue as it was like being on Razors after BMR had dumped urea all over it as it was a sheet of ice.

Ride up to the summit and tested out some bumps.  It’s amazing how the snow lasts as I was expecting glaciers but got firm, chalky grippapple snow.

The topic of lift conversations lately has been all the snow falling in the East.  Congrats!!
