indiggio Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 I’m back from another fun day at Solitude. Day started out in the lower 30’s that you could feel n the snow from the start. Groomers were still Western and fast in the morning, but with clouds rolling in from the impending storm, the light was very flat, so had to not go full out. Later, as the sun came up, the light got better and you could open it up. Got bored with ripping groomers, so went off the beaten path and sampled some of the steeper, bumped up areas. Found some softer bumps up top that were fun. Also tried Serenity off the Eagle, but it was full of exposed rocks, not fun. The big talk on the lift was the incoming storm. Hopefully it’s an over-producer, as it’s sorely needed. Also picked up another Solitude/IKON award for the day. Maybe I’ll take a bump lesson. 5
