Was working at the desk last night about 800PM and turned on the webcam just for the sake of having something enjoyable on the screen. The camera was pointed at the Sullivan and there wasn't a soul in sight. Didn't see one skier or boarder during the 20 minutes it was on. Strange that it appeared no one was there.
i ride gnu Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 the mountain closed at 730 yesterday cuz it was raining and turning into sleet, the sullivan closed at around 645 and the baily and meadows ran till 730

Must be the color of the day 'cause there aren't that many of them on Fridays. Watching the webcam, looks like an extremely light day skier wise for a St Paddy's day weekend Friday. Looks like the springtime indifferance has struck.
Papasteeze Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 wow... caution everyon.. they close the pipe because of fog and it is real foggy right now. they also close because snow is coming and it looks to be snowing, just stating the facts on previous closures, would want anyone to get burned..
Schif Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Just throwing this out there. I was at boulder the other day (tuesday) and they closed the lift on Freedom part way through the day. There weren't a lot of people there and I got pretty mad. So its not just CB that closes lifts.
