  1. I don't think he's afraid, just too pompous.
  2. Pops, I've been waiting for an answer from Johnny on this one. MC's course is the best!
  3. I heard Copper is making snow too...
  4. The 15 day forecast shows night temps down into the thirties in New England...
  5. Hey, Think, you guys better get a new "top 10 stats" list up soon. I'm ready to start whacking in the ski days...
  6. You are a riot. Love the DNF, added for gusto... Each oif my runs would be about his total time. Hey Johnny, what do you do to cross train?
  7. Easy. Just take a regular pic of yourself and rotate it about 80 degrees clockwise.
  8. Class 4, eh? A kiddo. Isn't that your class, '999? Looks like he'll give you a run for the money...
  9. If you were an adolescent male racer, you might also be able to charm the chickies behind the counter into making you a nice, juicy burger with a heaping plate of fries to go along with it.
  10. Carrying all their equipment? I don't think so. I'll give your kids a lift when we drive down.
  11. A lot of the CB mums don't ski well enough to get down Cliffy to be a gate keeper. And they are often the ones on the scene. Last year CB started recruiting ahead of time, by notifying the J3 parents that they would be expected to help. I think it worked a bit better - But, this was due to the efforts of highly motivated parents. Unfortunately, these parents get so overtaxed that they burn out and don't return.
  12. The 'dude walked in the summer. It's icy in the winter. Plus, I want him to have lots of energy for his training. What's a 'mum for, if not to make life a little nicer?
  13. Good work. That should get the point across. I'm thinking their perception is that the program costs them more in trails and instructor time/effort than it brings in. Some of the CB racedads I've skied with would bring CB 50k, easily, just in their bar bill...
  14. I wonder which lift? I like the early ski hours at CB, and have to drive the 'dude down for 7:30 anyway.
  15. The Volkl energy 380 is a nice ski for an intermediate who wants improve while skiing the Poconos or other areas where the terrain is groomed. It's reputed to be good for carving, cruising and related activities.
  16. Hey, Pops, you are on the wrong website. This should be posted at the Cb site.
  17. Don't disrespect brownie hounds like that.
  18. Ah yes, Johnny. MC has one of the best ASRA courses around. Love that run with the headwall, then the left turn and down the home stretch. How about hosting a PASKIANDRIDE race day there? GS in the AM and SL in the PM
  19. The phototips in this thread should be archived. P.S. lol, Discordial... Pops is right on - B&W, all the way...
  20. Johnny, Why aren't you posting this on the messageboard where skierforever posted his message? You are preaching to the choir here.
  21. We've gotta get a pic of the snow coming down...
  22. Congrats
  23. How did I miss this thread? Ski999 and DMC - you know each other - If not in person, at least on previous message boards. I guarantee it. Now chill out. Mum
