Will do, I am not really an early riser but I'm trying to get my sleep schedule back to that of a normal person so I might make it up for 9am later in the week, definitely if it snows. I'll let ya know Just remembered about http://www.skipeakre...ct.aspx?pID=367 I still haven't purchased but I think I'm going to take advantage of that Friday to ride somewhere other than Camel for the first time this season.
  3. Anytime, just pm the day before and I'll give you my cell # to meet up 50% off weekday tickets if I scan my pass
  4. I thought I'd post a TR since GSS wanted to know how the Camel was today. Conditions were buttery goodness carveable hard pack with some nice sugar on top. I pulled up to the Stevenson at 12:20 had a quick safety meeting put my head phones in and walked down the hill to the lift. No one to be seen so I strap in and kick up to the lift only to be stopped by the lifty who told me I can not ride alone! He then went on to explain that due to high winds his boss wants no singles to ride the lift because they may be blown out due to lack of weight. I laughed and joked about it but didn't mind. A dirty south jersey steezer came flying up next to me and we hopped on the Stevenson together to brave the dreaded winds. DSJS started telling me about how he is glad he drove the extra few miles to the Camel instead of Blue the true because he prefers all the options the Camel has to over such as the various ways you can cross over from the Sullivan to the Stevenson for nice long mellow runs. Than we got to talking about Stowe as we arrived at the highest ski lift accessible point on Camelback mountain. The last things DSJS said to me was how scared he was on every run at Stowe but loved every second of it and he'll take my advice to go up late season for spring conditions. I decided to head over to the Sullivan side and see what lift loading procedures they were following. I hit up Maries, Hump & Big Pocono which were all great carveable hard pack with a nice layer of sugar on top. I then went over to rocket which was poorly groomed with random ruts and some death cookies but not to bad. I lapped marc and cleo a few times before heading back over to the Stevenson to play meet and greet on the lift. To my surprise Cliffhanger was now open with the same great conditions as marjies and hump. I did a bunch of random crossover runs and ended the day with a few runs through a completely empty park. Left at 2:30 JADIP Some pics of the elusive Camels Hump Looking at Cliffhanger from the Nile before it was opened. Tubey land in the distance. Top of the Nile

Yes mostly weekday afternoons sometimes in the morning if it's gonna be a nice day.
  7. I'll be up around 11-12 for a couple hours.
  8. It better be superb conditions tomorrow at the Camel. You gonna be there setagehtta?
  9. Im just a Blue Mountain forum troll, I'm a CB pass holder. I won't be there for morning runs UNLESS....... GSS gets out of work early and can hook me up w/ that voucher
  10. Tomorrow will be a mountain of tasty sugar
  11. I bet your missing some nice PA mid season spring corn, sugar and hardpack by now.
  12. I just got an email from CBK. Seasons pass holders can swipe our passes at the ticket window for a friend to get 50% off open to close midweek tickets until the end of the season 1 per day. If any regular posters plan on coming up to the Camel on a weekday pm me the day before and if I'm up there I'll swipe my pass for you.
  13. Im gonna go play in the muddy 56 degree conditions tomorrow at the Camel I'm used to this mid season spring thing by now lol.
  14. There are lifts out there that will chuck you out of them if your bar isn't down. I've been on lifts that makes a 90 degree turn around an additional mid lift bull wheel halfway up that will gladly toss a person out of the chair and the lifties there usually don't warn you to put your bar down because of it. Would you be mad at a lifty for not telling you to put your bar down if you weren't paying attention on a lift and it ejected you?
  15. Honda'snever die, sometimes they're just forced to retire
  16. You're right it is waterparkish and it is annoying but they've been doing it forever and are never going to stop hehe.
  17. Dude just stop going to CB when the weather is forecaster for high winds or rain if this bothers you so much lol. You post these like its a surprise, you already know before you leave your house in the morning to go to CBK that you will be posting one of these when you get home, why bother? If you feel the service is bad, don't give them your money.
  18. Down boxes, Flat boxes, Wide Boxes, Butter Pads?
  19. Agreed, I'd like another progressive jump line on turkey trot again this season and move the jibs up there's plenty of room
  20. Looks so sick! Living the dream for sure
  21. What's with that jump on skiers right of cliffhanger that was built and fenced off and all the fresh feces laying on the side of the trail? Is it getting set up for some kind of event? It looks like fun!
