  5. CBK gets busy on weekends especially holiday weekends. It's ok if your a pass holder and you go early in the morning but by 10am it starts to get real busy.
  6. Well I work up this morning at 7am looked out the window sand seen a beautiful 5" layer of fluff outside. I went to my laptop to see if there were any additional trail openings and my mouse stopped working so I rebooted and it wouldn't start, kind a bummer on the morning but I'll get back to that. Brushed the truck off was on the road by 7:50 I seen some strange personal plow truck push snow onto the road around the sharp turn on 191 and drive away, I thought that was odd... was he trying to cause an accident? Stopped at the A+ off broad st. exit on 80 for a sugar free monster and some gasolina. Pulled into the free parking lot at 8:15 started the tunes on my iphone. Just as I was about to put my headphones in I heard the dude next to me complain to his friend that he's gonna shit his pants if he doesn't get his boots on quick and run up to the lodge.... it made me chuckle and start my walk up to the Sullivan with a smile as Matisayu was the first song in my iphoned shuffle for some Jewish reggae rock stoke. I reached the Sullivan just as they were letting the public onto the hill, I missed first trax but thats ok because it wasn't crowded at 8:30 yet everyone was buying tickets and getting ready. First run down Marjies I was a little disapointed most of the soft stuff blew up over the top of the marjies head wall so it was pretty icy at the top but the goods were midway down and I got a little float on the sides in some untracked. Next run I went for to Cleo in search of the goods! I found what I was looking for on the walls, the wind blew most of the goods up against the walls for calf deep untracked that I tracked up to the fullest in the next couple runs. I went over to king tut which just opened yesterday and found more stash spots up on the walls that the skiers just seemed to avoid or not notice more for me! 8 runs when the crowds came in definitely worth waking up early for I just wish we had more snow... I can't complain I got some float and mini pillow drops riding high up on the walls and dropping back in over rocks and little ledges from the frozen man made snow underneath. PA Pow stoke! I hope everyone else had a great morning! I might go back out at 3 to ride w/ some value pass friends. Now I'm home and my pc magically started but the mouse still didn't work. I asked google what could this problem be and he told me on the first search result that your motherboard probably needs a reset unplug your laptop shut down, start up again and replug in the power supply. MAGIC mouse works PC starts, weird huh but made for an even better day I don't have to worry about troubleshooting the problem PEACE OUT! :rock :rock :rock
  7. Its piling up outside!! Waxing my board can't wait for morning... :rock :rock

  10. Just scope out local power line trails on any nearby mountain/big hill. Many are graded flat down flat down like.

  13. Lets make it happen! Im ready Im ready!!
  14. What seriously? 3 foot drifts of man made pow? Im gonna have to give you my phone number so you can call me the mornings its like that and I can come up
  15. Killington, Stratton, Mount Snow are about 5 hours and what your looking for. I recommend killington since it's huge and you've never been there. Also you can get a cheap room for like $40 in rutland to ease the travel time.
  16. I wax about every 3 or 4 times out on the board so basicly once a week and mor often if I feel I need it. It's hard to avoid the mess, maybe do it outside or lay newspaper don inside to catch your scrapeings

Get a 4 wheel or all wheel drive I wish we got snow like VT and every house also has a snowmobile in the driveway for when ya gotta run out in a storm
  18. Let it snow let it snow let it snow
  19. Im no pro, I just started hot waxing my boards myself last season. All I do is drip in a zigzag down the length of the board iron it slowly nice and evenly. Then I scrape all the wax I can off after letting it sit for about 30 min and run a real fine brilo pad type sponge over it a few times to smooth things out and it's been working great for me. Never heard about the "lint free paper tower" thing, I doubt most ski shops even bother with that.

Without a doubt snowmaking will be back in force in the Poconos to get as much as possible open for Christmas week. Imagine how bad it would be if Camelback didn't get the other quad going and blue didn't get the 6 pack going by Christmas week. Everyones going to do everything they can to get things going to prep for the crowds.
  21. Nice shots, groomers got a lot of work to do.
