  1. I didn't go into the park today, I was just spaceing out on the soft groomers having fun. I'm sure it's in decent shape go up early if you want nice lips. It's gonna be warm tomorrow expect ruts later in the day.
  2. It drizzled a little at the mountain on and off but nothing to worry about compared to the weekend we just had.
  3. I arrived at the crack of noon and it was empty. There may have been 15 people on the mountain but I was suprised to see the coverage is still good. It appears the rain didn't hurt to drasticly and the groomers did a great job fixing it up. Stayed for about 3 hours and left, get out here people and keep the Camel open until April! JADIP
  4. Awesome, what mountain were you at? What were the conditions like, how do you think they will fare come early April?

    omgz booooooo to bear creek!
  6. Oh nos! First in PA down?
  7. I'm super Stoweked even though it's still a few weeks off. I wonder how Root did this weekend !
  8. The Sullivan and the Stevenson has been struck by lightning on multiple occasions. Fortunately is was off hours and no one was on it, definitely a good reason to close today.
  9. In southern VT yes. Mount snow is reporting a heavy 5-7 in th base and powder at the summit possible 4-7 more tonight. I don see anything for us though
  10. Ok a little rain is ok but torrential relentless downpour and thunder and lightning is not acceptable!
  11. They haven't bothered me since then. I think that just because it was opening day in the main parking lot. Stevenson and Glenn parking is where its at
  12. Just because there's a million threads about the lifts not running they spun today in the rain and fog until 5pm. I was up a little after 2, you couldn't see more than a chair in front of you and it was drizzling with no more than 15 people on the mountain. It was nice riding in minimal visibility without a soul in sight in soft spring cord this afternoon. It had a unique vibe to it you don't often get at Camelback. I left a little after 4 JADIP
  13. Yes about the ashes and joints burning holes in furniture while sipping on fine wine.
  14. Nice shots, the woods luck fun! Getting me excited for going back north
  15. I might I'm torn, definitely if it snows. If I don't go somewhere before Stowe I'm likely going to go to Stowe early like check in mon or tues and do a 4 or 5 day ticket.
  16. Fear not the Camel's unofficial closing date weather permitting is April 3rd. I can see it happening, with most the terrain still open but I'm Stoweked anyways!
  17. But the snow is dirty so it's not worth the time and money right?
  18. My guess would be with the temps still in the upper 20's at night and hitting upper 40's and lower 50's during the day things will be perfect and firm in the morning and soften quickly as the day goes on..... Get up there early if you want solid fast run ins and lips.
  19. Breathtaking photos! Amazing, living the dream! I love evergreens, there's something about being surrounded by evergreens when skiing/riding that adds that special something to it, don't know what it is. I think that's the main reason I fell in love with Jay Peak a few years back, they seem to have the most evergreens.
