No, like I just said in Nastar you must "finish with all your equipment",...which means if you lose a pole in the start you could be dsq'ed (could idk if you would), but it also means that when you lose a ski you put it back on and finish.

You can wipe out, and hike, and finish. In nastar I think you are even allowed to put your ski back on and finish.
