We had a kid who came in like 31st at Tussey get DSQed and was told he would be DSQed the next day because he wasn't on legal SL skis. Someone was willing to put up $100 for a protest fee, so the TD (who happened to be Gus) had to listen....Needless to say he was Back to your other question sib, My P50s (not P60s) say they are 183 >21m, so I'm not worried, but who knows about the new ones.
-
This is the ski in the auction...
-
Sib you sure that stuff is right? That would make any Volkl and Atomic not a leagal FIS/USSA ski for GS... Not sure why ski compainys would make race skis that weren't legal. More importantly, about this whole topic....You can ski a 14 meter ski, but chances are you are not skiing a 14 meter turn. Unless you are skiing the ski exactly how it was made (and tested), then your probably not skiing the radius. I have taken my 183 >21m radius skis in a slalom course (lots of skidding) but I have taken my slalom skis 165 (12ish radius) in a GS course, and carved every turn. What am I saying? Get on a pair of reasonable skis for the disiplin (Sl skis for sl, gs skis for gs) and just adjust your turns for the way the gates are set.

From the fisher website... From his aucton Both are for the "Competition JR. 2005" Ski. I am again confused at what you want...Too much ADD to go back and read all your posts

Rob, He might not be the best seller, might lack in the communitcation, but in his auction what did it say as far as a return policy? I am assuming since he has so many sales, he has a return policy. Does it on the ski say its a radius of whatever, insted of whatever?...Err scratch that...Whats the guys return policy?

-
Mmm it depends...Since its skiing, probably not...But if I'm stuck in the car with Jeff.... Don't worry, I think I'll hop in Greg, and everything will be cool. Ski, is your daughter going to be there That would insure a good mood

So you could return it, and get your hard earned money back

I have a pair of crossmax 10s, that are fun to ski on, but get really shaky at speeds, I have also skied there race skis which are really fun for free skiing, just not it for me in the gates. How much does it matter foam/wood (aside from foam is lighter) in a park ski?

I think if I owned a high power rifle, i would know what type it was....Unless I was just trying to impress people

Welcome to summer skidude

Yes the people that work there should just pick up the one quad, and bring it over to the other side, and put a new quad in....Shouldn't take more than a few hours right? What are they going to do after lunch?
-
If they replaced there new quad with a high speed one, or there tripple with a high speed quad, that would be awsome...Or even a high speed tripple Think of all the Nastar runs you could get in
-
Not sure if this is what your asking.... Every ski type (all the atomic GS 11s or Volkl GS P60s etc) in there SHORTEST (err I think) length is the radius (Volkl P60s in 175 are a radius of 21 meters, The same model ski in 180 will either be marked as 21 meter radius or >= (greater than or equal to) 21 meters.) Let me put it this way....a ski with the sidecut of 110-65-108 (completely random numbers) in size 165 might have a 12 meter radius, the same ski (110-65-108) in 185 will have a bigger radius (13-15 probably)... maybe this helps..maybe?

We do, as long as your name isn't jeff

Speaking of footbeds...I bought a pair out at Park City, and then by chance I happened to win a gift cert for ANOTHER pair. If anyone needs them let me know. They retail for $195+tax (came to like 205 I think). Surefoot will give make you NEW footbeds for FREE if your still growing and you buy a pair....So for someone like lil steeze he could buy one pair, and get a new pair every year, for free. Let me know...

No freestyler, but maybe one step down from race....Most flexable...If the boot fits (around your foot, no cramping etc) stay with the same brand. Maybe go to nestors and see what they say...
