That is basicly what ski partrol does. The EMTs on the mountain. So places also have them make sure you are skiing and riding in control and stuff, but CB has rangers for that. Skiers with a tip on the front and back of the ski...Is that what you were looking for?
-
All they have to do to get a trail to be bumped is blow about an even 4 inch coating of snow, and leave it ungroomed...Later that day you will have a sweet bump run. I remember them dooing that a few times.
-
Ehhh tis better than nothing....and I think it was reasonable not to make snow last weekend...as most days this week were forcasted as lows above 32....ehh thats no good...but this weekend we will proabably see all resorts umm lighting up
-
CB let rocket a few years ago bump...But that stopped because of ski team practice, and it is also the trail the partrolers use for there practice most of the time. Asp as a bump run would be realllll nice...I think I have skiied it a few times with bumps. Or do 1/2 of big pocono as bumps...Or turn it into a super G

And what happens if you are going for angle, and get over like 45 degrees or whatever..then you are sliding on them, and not on your edges
-
That would slow ya down too much....Seems like a rip off for 50 bucks, and a slower ride. And who knows what it would do to preformance
-
Yeah they have to blow up there. They get a lot more snow than CB or Blue, but still not close to enough
-
Where did all the snow go?

Hmm this is true. I guess snow is better than no snow...Even if it is shawnee -

Idk, its still shawnee. Even all the other years when I was stuck around here it still wasn't appeling. Try to do a day trip to NY if you are really in withdrawl. -

Who cares, it shawnee, and I will be up at Kmart then -
Yeah, so Cbs top to bottom vert is 800, BB is like 550(I think) so one top to bottom run at each resort woudl total 1350 feet.
-
Vertical feet is how many feet straight down you skied. Like Camelback if you do cliffhanger or nile mile, they both drop around 800 feet....And I belive Sib messures using her watch.
-
I bet when it gets cold...It is going to get really cold, and stay cold...There will be none of this gradualy cooling down stuff.l
-
Priorities Sib...Get em right
-
I saw the SL and GS...Good stuff
-
I wax in my basement...But I have never used flouro wax...I have some powder, but will be using that out on the hill. Also I have a little heater/fan I use when I wax/ptex.
-
Fluoro is much worse for your Lungs if it is inhailed...That is probably what you heard. You should always wax in a well ventilated area, but with Fluoro you deffinatly need to.
-
Park city has like 4 cams, and you can take control of all of them for like 45 seconds
-
Pretty much the same. I don't notice much of a diffrence. I use the CH stuff when I want to be a little more exact....As far as I know there both made with Hyrogen and Carbon (hence CH or Hydrocarbon wax)....And that is insted of the more expesive (LF/HF, which is made up of Fluorine and hydrogen) Err back to your quetsion.. It is pretty compariable...Just the universal is less temp spesific
-
I use swix. As far as I know ski wax and snowboard wax are the same. I bet ski999 could tell me if I was wrong, but your bases are made of the same thing and you put wax on the same way. Anyway I know swix works well for skis and boards(had friends at hood tell me about boards), and I belive ski999 likes the the Toko wax. Its all pretty good if you get name brand.
-
There are waxes that are very spesific. Most of the time I just use a universal warm or a universal cold wax. Much easier, much less planning. But you could get wax for ever cond if you wanted to My Iron is an iron sent from god....Well atleast its a holey iron...Haha I am so funny
-
Hmm I have been using the same 5-10$$ iron for 3 or 4 years now...And have had no problems..And I wax A LOT of skis
