  1. I have a new dress shirt and shoes as of this past Saturday. Just as we were pulling into the hotel parking lot in Conshy I remembered my garment bag was hanging on the basement door. šŸ™„ When I brought it downstairs to put in the car the wife wasn't back yet from dropping the kids at my parents so I hung it up there and then walked right out without it. Everything for the wedding we went to was in there, suit, shirt, ties, pants, shoes, dress socks. Had just over 2 hours until the wedding, lol. Had stashed an extra pair of black dress pants in my regular bag in case I decided against the suit I'd rather wear the plain black instead of the gray, so I had those. Ran out to DXL at KOP for a shirt, tie and shoes, and ran into WalMart and grabbed undershirts and socks. Made it to the wedding with about 5 min to spare. Definitely not buying a season locker after that unexpected $250 outlay. 🤣
  2. I'm doing my best.
  3. Yeah, the description in that post *definitely* describes the Vista lift to a tee, but I figured with the word Valley maybe that was the part the lane-whisperer got right, lol. I still tend to think that neither is going to be removed, but you never know. The upper carpet seems like the second hardest lift at Blue to get a ride on. It's almost never running. Agreed, the speculation is very entertaining to me
  4. I had a thought during my playing around with the lines when the one line had the lift going right down the learning hill, that maybe the original release was right and they would remove that lift, compress the learning hills into one wide slope and move the carpets to the other side and go carpet only. But that seems ridiculous.
  5. That's very interesting. Half-width lower main?
  6. More lane for eastward expansion, though I’m sure those parcels were included in the maps Ben made up last year. Planning minutes from March 2021
  7. It's probably just not in the way yet. They haven't drug out the old towers either . . .
  8. I wasn't sure if they would use this line, since if I recall correctly it runs right down the center of the skiers right upper learning hill, so I was playing with the different corners of the warming hut and the upper house of the doubles, but it seemed like any line that wouldn't run right down the middle of that learning hill would put a decent amount of the lift in bounds on Main.
  9. Whatever they're for, they're messing with one now on the cam. It looks like they intend to put a tower in that cleared area we saw in the bike video lookers left of main, then jump over to just off the right side, but the straight lines I was messing with on Google maps doesn't jibe with being able to do that and end up where the old doubles did
  10. @Benmany radio chatter about what all the poles they've laid down the middle of Main St will be for? I'm curious how much of the new lift's root is going to be over Main St and if there will be a tower in bounds
  11. Can it be told with a screenshot for those without Instagram? Wants me to log in EDIT: found a workaround
  12. +1, wedding in Philthy tomorrow. Outdoor ceremony, covered reception, apparently
  13. I think PASR is more likely to start a GoShunMe for ya, Salty
  14. Yeah, I just didn't think the line would take it over that far, I thought it was going to kind of go over the intersection and run up along the looker's right side of Main St
  15. A lot more trees cut on lookers left of Main than I would have thought
  16. Man. You got that joke REALLY quickly.
  17. Towers coming down? It looks like there's someone(s) on a Burma tower on the cam, and its tough to tell but from the Valley cam there may be towers missing higher up Ah, definitely coming down. Can see the crossmember of the uphill tower on the ground above where they are working.
  18. Yeah, that looks like a pretty decent spot for the mint, since it likes to spread out by root or just above the soil offshoots, you can probably keep it contained fairly well in that spot. Don't let it flower or it could end up spreading via seed as well. Similarly with rosemary, it's very hardy and perennial as long as winter isn't particularly harsh, it can come back the next year. In my experience it does well if you keep it trimmed. I also know nothing about roses
  19. I was thinking more of the hail and the walkers, or walking home from the bus
  20. Yeah, I'm thankful for that early dismissal, because the text alerted me to the storm. When I looked it up, it said potential for large hail so I went and moved some things in my garage so I could pull my truck in off the driveway. Of course, since I did that, we won't get any major hail up this way.
  21. I figured you would be able to reverse engineer the sale listing and tell us how many they have "in stock" and how many have sold. šŸ˜‚
  22. Yeah, Blue would never drop a trail as challenging as the double lift line would be right into a beginner trail like the bottom of Burma.
  23. Agreed. Mostly. 🤣🤣
  24. I can't wait to read about them destroying those waterslides when they lose control of a swinging lift tower while trying to set it
  25. I don't think that the lift could start where they want it to and then make the turn to drop into that lift line without an angle station, which is surely more expensive then clearing the new line. Maybe if they could have reused the footers from the doubles it could have been feasible.
