  1. Arrived at 8:20 AM to 18° and sunny skies. Saw TP4, VTMark and bethlehem Ford guy in the house. Got the second chair up and went to Challenge first. Some cookies and some uneven grooming but I’m happy it’s open. Hit that that twice and then went to Main Street. Main Street was a perfect groomer. Smooth, dry snow. Lazy and Paradise we’re also really nice but Main Street was my ROTD. New trails open for me included Challenge, Lower Park, and the crossover under the 6 pack from Home Stretch to Lower Park.

Blowing was on NMDW, Lower Sidewinder, Switchback, and a couple spots on open trails. Razors was still being pushed out with 2 cats on it.

Skied until 10 and now I’m off to work. I’ll be back at it Saturday.

  2. Awesome lot day. Snow was decent but there is no where for everyone to go with only 3 trails. Thank you Enjorales for your meat in my mouth and Atomics friend with the great home brew. I now know what Kelis was taking about when she said her Milkshakes bring all the boys. She was talking about Milkshake IPAs.

  3. Congrats on 15! I may be new to the site but I’ve met a lot of you assholes years ago. Here’s the oldest photo I could dig up. Can’t wait for Rainman to say the year, day, and time, plus or minus 3 minutes.

  4. Arrived at lower lot at 7:45 AM because I’m still in holiday mode. Watched videos of Jackson hole till 830. The Bethlehem Ford guy, Eclaire, and Clifford the Big Red Dad we’re in the house. First chair up had light fog, halfway down Main it started raining. Second run down Paradise you could barely see because of the rain and the fog was so thick. Third run, the sun came out and stayed out.

Drop the skis off at True Blue for an edge and hot wax. Saved three fidy thanks to the season pass.

Snow wasn’t terrible and it was empty so it was a good start to the day. On the drive out, LT Police had some kind of set up going on with a cruiser in the halfpipe parking lot and someone pulled over in the Penn DOT lot.

    Ski you this weekend.

  5. Of course it was the riders fault. Would have been blues fault if the chair fell from the cable.

I think the biggest cause of death is blunt force trauma.  Hitting a tree, lift tower, solid object.  In places like the Rockies and the alps I would think that avalanches are the greatest killer.

Couple comments online are saying he had a seizure and that caused him to fall. Not confirmed that it is true though.
