There's not. JF will be dead Saturday. It really only gets busy there Xmas week, MLK and presidents. Even then u can hit the whole mt from 8-10 and then the east mt from 10-12 before it gets packed with yahoos.
They switched to the fancy passes like blue that need to be scanned. Last week they scanned me every time in line. Today they scanned me once and then the scanner guy dissapeared for the rest of the day. I don't see them sticking with these passes.
Oh btw, they could easily be 80% open by next Saturday.
That's good news. I personally wish places brought the 4 hour tickets back. Back in the day at CB I could buy a camel card for $75, on Saturdays a 4 hour ticket was $33 and Sundays were $22. Weekend of riding for $55 was perfect.
$499 is a deal. I paid $515 at JFBB at the earliest date and that included the family pass discount. Once my girls are bigger we will be moving on to bigger/further/more crowded mountains.
It's funny how jfbb had season passholders still get a paper ticket. With 5 season passes I went to the window by myself every time and picked up 5 passes. I could have sold them every day at half price and walked with $125 cash. That's probably more than the average person in carbon county makes in a day.
Doug, ER has 3 really steep trails down the center. As steep as most hills in the pokes, but they are sheets of ice. They are a great place to teach 3 year olds how to ski, but that's about it.
