I agree 100%. They really should build a base lodge. It would only have to be open on the weekends. They need more bars also. The one on the first floor is a nightmare from 2-5. We usually skip it and go right to nicks or boulder view or Murphy's.

$20 is worth it with a 8, 6 and 3 year old. In the grand scheme of things it's nothing.

U can pay $20 for upfront parking, but that usually fills up on weekends. Subs park in the 2nd lot on certain weekends.

Yep, when I'm solo or with my sidekick we are there for first tracks. BB has good parking. It doesn't get crowded there till noon. JF used to have season pass parking. BS that they got rid of it.

The lot is goofy, on weekends if there after 9 you're hiking.

At the very least they should improve parking.

I think most places are heading in this direction with pricing. Before I had kids and season passes I would get in 30 days at 10 plus different places. Usually just buying 4 hour passes. Who would ski bell to bell in the pokes?

Growing up at the beach most people are very conscious about their weight. Even old guys like me.

They could have done it earlier than that in others years, but didn't. In my opinion there is more of a push to open early for bragging rights on social media.

Beverage prices in pokes bar are reasonable in my opinion. I never feel bad the morning after like I do at beach bars.

I also like the 8-11 session. If I'm riding with good people and it's a nice day, (low wind and bright sun) I will often stay out till 2.

I've never really got the feeling that sugarbush was for people with money more than any other place in Vermont. I thought the prices to stay, ski, drink and eat were cheaper than killington. When comparing vert and acreage to dollars I think the pokes are the most expensive.
