Just got back from the south end of OC. The beach goes right through all of the houses on the beach block and continues at about 3 feet deep of sand a block from the ocean. Best part is people driving 2WD cars and getting stuck.

Eagle Rock season passes are less than half of what the other mountains charge. Sno is another good option. Once my girls are older, we will be season pass holders at JF.
It's worth the $40 to be on a less crowded mountain. I would never take my 5 year old to Blue, CB, or Shawnee on a weekend. We drive 30 minutes past JF to go to Eagle Rock, because it's empty.
Most times it not much colder there than it is at BB and BB can open quicker than Elk since their trails are about a quarter of the length and they are closer to Philly which means people will drive an hour less to ski one trail.
I predict 5 storms that dump 10+ inches in the pokes this year. Im staying positive, we cant have 2 shitty winters in a row? I cant remember that ever happening.
