Back at the cobble mountain. Lunch break and waiting for my daughter to finish calc. shit sounds like another language not even sure what they're saying...wtf does the "N go to infinity" mean! Anyway class ends in 10 then back to the face. Still just the face lift running. We'll see happens though. Action shot from yesterday

For sure. I'm at whiteface. I'm skiing awesome snow. The sun is shining. This would be a 12 out of 10 at blue. Wind is an issue but I'm not at all going to complain about that. This place is empty too with the exception of a few locals.

2 beautiful cord runs off of facelift and in for a quick warm up. Lots of poe stashes on the sides of the trails courtesy of the wind. Fingers crossed for lookout and summit. We'll see. Either way facelift to mid mountain alone services the same amount of vert as mount sneaux. All good. Ok back out...

Shit happens. I probably should've gone with my gut and booked mid March bit it is what it is. Yesterday was hella fun as was the day before. Update...power is back on at the mountain and the sun is bright. Only lifts turning are at kids campus however. They're working on the others. I'm heading over soon. Cobble gave us a noon check out. I mentioned Saltys name and they made it happen for me.

Thought about that but I have to work tomorrow. I'll make the best of today.

Cold as balls. -6 in town and this from wf website... 3/2/21 at 5:24 am| Whiteface is currently without power at this time. We anticipate wind affecting lift operations. Updates as they occur. Not sure what today will bring. I'm definitely calling CML front desk to see if they'll give us a later check out...

I knew a guy that slept next to a dishwasher.

Still snowing in town...3 or 4 inches maybe. Tomorrow could be nice

Dumping out. The last hour or so was skiing with a tinge of accumulated pow. Maybe an inch or so. Never got to the summit. It never opened. It was little WF all day with one run off lookout mountain and toward the end laps off the face lift as everything high closed around 3. Still a great freaking day. Ride home was sketch.

It was a miracle I didn't get jacked up I guess. In the town known for miracles. Having lunch now. Waiting for my kid. Will end up skiing till close. snows good despite the low vis. Wilmington trail is grate.

Lookout mountain is officially open. Wilmington trail time!!

I honestly don't care that much tomorrow is supposed to be bluebird. The snow is really good and that's what counts. I just hope the summit and look out open soon

Just skied approach to wilderness and made the most miraculous recovery in all my years of skiing. Flat light and foggy I didn't see a lip right before the pitch...came in with speed, saw the lip last minute and tried to stop but it was too late. Did a 180, and backwards wedged on that pitch (wilderness) with speed for about 300 or so feet. Finally dug in hard enough to stop but miraculously stayed up right. Literally had to pull over and just sit for like 10 minutes to absorb what just happened.

There's hope. Clouds to the east over in vermont appear to be breaking. At the moment look out and the summit are closed. Sticking to little white face at the moment
