Its crap like this that make me appreciate areas like Elk despite their tree parole.

Ugh I hate that terminology . The words Metro and ski area or "ski park" as they call it should never be used in the same sentence. Skiing is about getting away. Another reason to stay away from Camelback.

Wow. That's scary about margies. It's all subjective of course but in my subjective opinion, there are a shit ton of trails tougher (aka intimidating for newbs) than margies with both razors and challenge being two of them. Obviously there is stuff on east mountain as well but I wouldn't put them in the "trail" category.

You, my flat land friend, will be skipping the parade on TV and riding castlerock on Turkey Day.

That works. I'm not paying Elk's insane window prices anymore. Even when I was an instructor, they would tell me that I had to pay full price. Meanwhile every mountain that I've skied at in Utah (with the exception of Alta) offers an industry discount.

It's actually fitting that the best place to find a decent Elk deal is in a case of beer.

Ride likes to talk about jet streams etc. One look into Ridge Racers crystal ball reveals that we will have freedom park, boulder park and love Park for thanksgiving weekend. You're in luck my friend. Enjoy.
