Conditions were pretty awful tonight. One of those if you can ski at Blue mountain, you can ski anywhere kinda nights. ice in the middle, sugar on the sides, some man made here and there. Much better than being home watching the Patriots act like f ing clowns to end any chance of making the playoffs.

Nobody seems to know about the 50 dollar credit for buying the pass last spring

For the record (just looked at the bank account) the Sierra Nevada Hazy whatever at the beer truck was $8.50 and not $4. Although I know I'm not going crazy because she said $4 and handed me a sierra mist originally. Assuming that's what she was telling me was 4 bucks. My bad.

Really great day. Best conditions I think of the season that held up fairly well. So nice to ski new trails. Looked and felt like winter today.

Here's my question for you though. Would you consider the 2 mountain pass next if it were reasonably priced next season? You haven't mentioned that at all.

I got the email too and deleted it because 1) it looked fishy and 2) it could be an 18 cent upgrade (let alone $180) and I probably wouldn't do it.

"Earliest" as in earliest date in the ski season, earliest ski day in our lifetime or earliest time of day? Either way... 1) earliest date in the season was an October snow storm when @JFskiDanand I poached split rock and skied over pumpkins 2) earliest age ....I think I was 6 at Big Boulder with my family. 3) earliest time of day? Idk. 8am blue openings I guess although I've woken up at 3am to fly out west for skiing if that counts.

No not at all. Ended up working late and passed out on the couch. Trust me. I was annoyed with myself for not getting out but plenty of days ahead.

I love all of this so very much. Not gonna lie KSL is coming in and kicking ass. I give them a 9 out of 10 so far. if they build a strattonesque base village next I'll bump that up to a 10.

Just got home from Hershey. the roads starting around hickory run were somewhat spicy. Curious to hear how today was.

I was shocked with the amount of trees and ungroomed terrain I found. There's a run that's not on the map which runs under the gondola if I recall that was so much fun. They just got 7 inches or so with another foot forecasted for the new few days.

Conditions were fairly similar to what they have been this season. Coming soon was good and held it's own. Lower paradise turned to cement and seemed to be getting worse by the run. Saw lots of people down... especially in the flat light areas. What was cool however since I was skiing at the 10:30ish, 11 o clock hour today (which is rare) I got to experience sun on lower free fall which made meant getting a bit more speed than usual which was quite nice. Glad I got turns today because I'm away tomorrow and Sunday. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
