  1. This one?
  2. I don’t think I need a single piece of gear this year, 90% good thing as I save money, 10% bad as I can’t sit on my couch in October admiring whatever shiny new gear I just got
  3. Thank you for this. I’m in a similar boat as I’ve been trying to figure out the benefit of an epic day pass. Doesn’t seem like much at all
  4. Thank you. So I’m getting the impression the day pass is simply a discount card, as in you still have to purchase a lift ticket?
  5. I’m trying to figure out if I’m getting an epic pass but I’m confused between the Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, and Epic Day pass. I’m under the impression epic pass you can show up to most mountains anytime (with a reservation). Epic local is similar but no holidays. And epic day pass has me the most confused. Is it simply a pass to get discounts and reservations? The 4 day is $101 per day, plus you still have to buy the discounted lift ticket? @Barb, any possible insight you have would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  6. I wore hats a lot for like the first 26 years of my life cause I was subconscious of how I looked. Once I started getting a buzz cut at like 26 or 27 I was ok with how it looked and I no longer needed hats lol
  7. Nope, red Phillies fitted everyday (I wore hats every day back then, now I rarely do)
  8. It amazes me I never got my ass kicked in the 4-5 years I lived there
  9. For sure, that’s why I didn’t get mad and simply explained the fallacy of said hipster’s video
  10. Lol at walking around Manhattan. Let’s see him go to south Bronx or north Brooklyn. Also, I trust the info I’m getting from people who spent literally their entire lives in Brooklyn, not some hipster walking around trendy neighborhoods
  11. I appreciate this post and you keeping it respectful. I agree that Covid is a big reason people are moving, but the crime and violence is also a big reason. People here think I’m making this stuff up, but my source is a close friend In real estate who is a first generation American who has lived in Brooklyn his entire life, grew up with 0 English spoken in the home, and is a registered Democrat (in case anyone wants to say I’m being biased) as far as Brooklyn goes, its the 4th biggest city in America with some of nyc’s most expensive and most violent neighborhoods. Thus, parK slope, Brooklyn heights, most of south Brooklyn have been fine. But as someone who pre-Covid was going to Brooklyn numerous times per year, I know for a fact that flatbush (my old neighborhood), East Flatbush, crown heights, Bed stuy, Brownsville and of course East New York are all hot as shit right now. The city claims 75% of all shootings in the five boroughs can be traced back to Brooklyn. Hell, they cancelled J’Overt this year but people still came out in the middle of the night and numerous blocks still got shot up, including a 6 year old getting shot by a 15 year old
  12. Thank you. This is what I wanted all along, rational and mature debate. I should have been more clear when I referred to personal attacks. I was more annoyed you brought up my family, as it isn’t their fault I’m a jackass. Everyone here knows I’m a loser, but my parents are not at fault for that or my immature behavior. While I’m flattered my list of mountains visited is near the top, J-law has got to have more mountains than me. While I probably take the poor act a little too far as I have a roof over my head, food on the table, and participate in 2 expensive winter hobbies. That being said, i have been told by 2 different posters that another poster makes fun of my income fairly regularly (nobody in this thread). No big deal as you are correct that I’m doing alright, but I’m aware of talk behind my back
  13. Your broke, the kid ain’t yours, and everybody knows. Your own mans say you stupid, you be like so, I love my baby mother, I’ll never let her go.
  14. I’ll claim ugly and stupid. That being said, I Am the best skier on the mountain
  15. Understandable. I appreciate your willingness to have a mature debate, as opposed to sinking to personal attacks. It pains me the debate spiraled into that
  16. So that lady was lying?
  17. Growing up, therapists told me I need to learn to stick up for myself and not let people walk all over me. I assumed they were talking about bullies, not someone I like and see every winter weekend smh a damn shame a debate turned into personal attacks dont forget the free medical attention I gave that person when they were injured
  18. No act here, unlike you, I care about all races and income levels. Keep in mind, you said people who get businesses handed to them from their families work harder than Mexican landscapers, which is bullshit and racist. Also, your man told me point blank to my face that mommy and daddy bought you that motorcycle. Unlike you, everything I have in life other than one family trip (how dare I spend time with the people who raised me?) is paid for by me. You paid for that lake house huh? (My family only has 1 home) Edit: sucks this had to turn into personal attacks BTW. Didn’t want it to come to this. However, as John Rambo once said “They drew first blood, sir.”
  19. See, I appreciate your thoughts on this because you are being open minded to different view points. People def move for a whole bunch of reasons. My problem is numerous people in real estate have told me they are busy as shit right now as people flee cities (for numerous reasons) . When I pointed this out, a few certain wealthy people with advanced degrees said I was lying
  20. Spare me your statistician mumbo jumbo, I don’t have a degree in mathematics, statistics, or engineering. This is for the working class, the people who bring their lunch pail to work everyday
  21. The people here defending cities live as far away from them (and their diverse populations) as possible lol
  22. Y’all are proving my point. I posted a perfect example/fact/data/data point/tangent/plural/ancedote/whatever you want to call it, and instead of rational debate, y’all hit me with a bunch of statistician mumbo jumbo. A person literally said they were moving because of violence, but because said person had less of an education than y’all, her point was considered irrelevant. I was also told Facebook isn’t real, which is ironically what I was told when I called out the racist things said in the beltzville group (this isn’t directed at schif, as he, myself, Ben, Kyle, and ridge racer seem to be the only people thinking with logic, instead of with political motives
  23. Then we will have to agree to disagree
  24. I’d say real life experience def qualifies. So communityleaders are lying? You are letting your wealth and education blind you to the plight of the working class
  25. I’ve been saying this for months and instead of engaging in rational debates like adults, people talk shit, hate, and post false articles and stats. I think their wealth is blinding them to how the real world actually works
