Ha they are always first to open because they promised the people who owned timeshares there that they would open thanksgiving day weekend. If the weather doesn't cooperate they will probably shred ice and throw it on one trail. I also haven't heard anything positive about shawnee so I don't plan on going there any time soon.

Exactly ski that is what I mean that is how people get hurt by skiing on stuff that is way to big for them. They ruin there knees and ankles when they fall. Its the same thing with the "thrifty" skier buying skis and boots that are way too big for them and in the end they just get injured. I don't see how the ussa comes up with these farfetched regulations every year they just get longer. Its rediculious its like putting a four year old on 160cm skis!

I know how in the world do they expect someone that age to ski a ski that dam big I mean what if you weren't that tall or heavy how do they expect you to ski that is way to big for you?

Atomic- I was thinking about buying these but they were too big for me they are in 183cm http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...116149&tc=photo starting bid is only $249 and so far there are no bidders on them and only a day left so check it out. I would get them but I'm looking for something around 170 or a hair above or below. Btw jib- I called sports authority and they said the tent sale is next saturday 10/9 it starts.

Thanks jib, yeah I'm not a snowboarder but I also heard a rumor that sports authority is going to carry burton boards.

Hey jib- I was at sports authority a few weeks ago and they said to me something about a tent sale for there ski/snowboard stuff I think they call it "sniagrab" " (bargains spelled backwords) and they said it being sometime in October. I was at the Petsmart in whitehall yesterday and in Sports authorities parking lot they had a tent set up. Is there any way you can ask your friend if the sale is going to be this weekend?

Hey justo any idea when whitehall is going to be reopening? I was wondering because I'm in the market for a new pair of skis and don't feel like running to quakertown. Also what store are you going to be working at once whitehall opens?

Ah, don't worry about it ski in a way I agree with you. I did not get a chance to race last season but plan on doing it this season at bear creek. I ordered a sasquatch card so that should help keep the cost down. I did race seasons before but somehow they claim "I was never registered?" so I have no results from previous years.

Wow snow From what I've been hearing some places out in colorado and mount bachelor in Oregon have begun to make snow. Looks like alta made out pretty well with this natural snow.
