  1. Blue Mountain does have an IT tech, I am assuming they don't want to waste the bandwidth at this point since there isn't much going on in the valley besides tubing.
  2. Haha pretty much, their Facebook page has been hit hard the past few weeks with 13 year olds keep asking when they are opening lol but ya see everyone up there!
  3. As per website shooting for December 11th
  4. Drove by Big Blue at 6am on my way to work. Guns were a blazin starting to look really nice
  5. Posted on Facebook: Ohh man, were making snow again. If I were you I would get my canned food out, make sure it's not out dated, go over my gear, and go to bigboulderPARK.com in the mourning to see what I'm gonna be doing for the day. The scientists feel pretty good about this, we looked at all there calculations...... A lot of big numbers.... They say that's good. But all we know is were stoked.
  6. Nothing like waiting till the last minute again ....this time for the scanners.
  7. That would be awesome...But I doubt it. JFBB has an awesome marketing staff and knows how to attract people. I never saw Blue do anything like this...except their daily "Specials" Are you listening Heidi Lutz? We know you read these forums
  8. I visited last year at the same time and had a lot of fun. It snowed the whole time. Great town, great atmosphere, except all the Canadian hockey assholes but other than that have fun
  9. Well, with the prices always going up. I bet they will charge $150.00 for a tune
  10. Ya I personally will never have Blue "Tune" my equipment. LOL Just posted this for anyone who actually cares. I don't lol.
  11. Blue Mountain is proud to announce the arrival of our new, state of the art Montana Challenge MAX automated ski and snowboard tuning machine. Blue Mountain is the first and currently only shop in the United States to operate the Challenge MAX! BAHAHHA
  12. FYI Just received e-mail: Here at Blue Mountain we are gearing up for the season and we wanted to let you know about an important change to your 2010/11 season pass. This year we are introducing the Blue Mountain Passport! This is your ticket to everything at Blue. With the Blue Passport you will be able to ski right out onto the slopes! Instead of scanning you at entry points we will be doing gate and lift scanning so you can leave your pass in the pocket of your outer garment! Because of this exciting change you will need a new season pass. If you obtained your pass before November 13, 2010 please come to the Summit Lodge to receive your new pass. The Summit ticket office pre-season hours are Monday- Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm. See you on the slopes!!!
  13. I called the mountain today and the rep told me that The scanners at the high speed lifts and the handheld readers should work fine if you have your pass insdide your coat in the little stash area, or in your pants, or inside your wallet, she said otherwise they would have gave everyone leg bands if they weren't able to read. And from using these readers at work , other mountains etc they worked very well even with multiple layers.
  14. HAHHAA Honestly she should just retire, she has the worst customer service skills EVER But yes I agree they are horrible and nobody will see them since they will be in your pocket, coat etc but still haha
  15. I would vote for you shadows me too I vote NO although I miss Sensi and his Bromley posts as well
  16. Ya lol I was like No Sobeys mad chill we worked Main St Chair haha
  17. YES! And git rid of the 80 year old ticket seller that has a horrible attitude!
  18. Your season pass # stays the same. Just bring your pass along and they will enter it in. They still use the same RTP system for the passes.
  19. I drove down the dirt road where the water park is supposed to be "Located the other day and found absolutely nothing but a small cleared out area". But at the bottom of Blue Mountain drive, across the street from the Valley Lodge access road, there was a crew of blue employees cutting down trees, a surveyor, and a newly formed dirt road.. hmm
