The whole eastside of the mountain could be open today but they insist on always needing a 36" base to open a trail. Only trail open for this morning is challenge. WTF? And widow maker & terrain run park are the only trails they listed to be open for Friday..... Ugh. The whole eastside could be open but noooo. Wishful thinking. I am really surprised that they aren't trying to get paradise open asap... Maybe for Saturday... If it's not open by Monday there is a problem here. Dreamweaver should be open by Saturday along with paradise too. No reason it can't be. Maybe they will pull a suprise out of their ass and open a trail or two later today.

Hm, no. First off i'd have to be a licensed carrier, blue would never ever give out guns lol. They hired outside help for armed security guards. I do patrol with my handy dandy radio I get to beat people with if I get an unruly customer ha. Man snow was nice up until I left tonight! Once 4 came I was running for the time clock got my board and strapped in at 4:07. I like the RFID scanner, ride up to it a half second later gate swings open and it's a peice of cake. It might get a little hectic once the crowds show up for holidays but I won't be there to see it anyways so it's all good in the hood. Snow felt great today, I left at 540 and the kids started to roll in so I figured it was time to go. Just sayin but paradise challenge dreamweaver widomaker aka raceway finish line and terrain run all have a possibility of being open for tomorrows session. They were grooming paradise finish line and dreamweaver when I left. Don't forget the 20th is RFID scanning at all the double chairs. Good. Oh and that's the machines... Not the hand scan.

It happens, A lot of people were eating shit today... It's expected. guy falls off the flat down flat while i was going over head on the lift and he starts complaining and i yell "ehhh it's okay man it's the first day back i feel ya" he laughs and says yeaaaaaaah i know. good shit. can't wait to get back out there hopefully park crew will change some of the setups in a few days..... when i first entered come around and i saw the two urban rails i thought......... yeah... nope im okay on that today... i dont feel like breaking anything my first day back

man i am really outta shape... being home off the mountain for 9 hours really gave my body time to sore the fuck up. my wrists hurt, neck hurts, arms hurt, butt hurts, thighs hurt, calves hurt.... wtf? i know when you get older shit tends to hurt more and for longer but fuck im only 27. granted for the first day back i kinda beat myself up.. ate some gnarly shit a few times knocking the 8 month rust collection off my park abilities. oh well comes with the territory. anyone else feeling the aftermath of being sore?

Ahh that's bs lol. Midway was cookie infested a bit main st wasn't bad after some time. You guys expect too much lol as long as the cookies aren't like last year during opening day I don't give a shit I'm just happy as a fly on shit just to be back on the snow. I was doing some serious tuckage down main st and the "cookies" didn't harm me one bit. I don't know how upper main st was but lower main st was a okay for me and everyone I was riding with.

Come around usually sucks and it was kept up well and there was nice features for come around standards.

Nice pow. Why the hell dosent blue (pa) not allow riding under the lifts..... OH I know cause ungratefull little bastards litter under the lifts. But even if there was no litter blue wouldn't allow skiing under the lifts.... When there is optimal snowfall under them that is.

Yes, but I want my info recorded so I make them scan it lol. They knew me and my buddies and they let us go from the start but then I remembered my runs and vert aren't being recorded so every run after that I had them scan me.

Scanning was okay. The personel had the rub the gun against the pocket the pass was in. Can't wait till the actual scanners get installed Have fun! Gotta let us know how night time conditions are.

This basicaly explains everything, I tried it out and these are the results of day 1 at Blue the True. App is called Ski Tracks in the App Store it's a free app but they do have a paid version which is worthless to buy it. OH and why the one says December 1st is beyond me haha.

I was going to write up a TR but you beat me to it. Yeah today was great! One of the first 20 people on the mtn for the new season. Arrived at 8:15 finished my Monster booted up and once 8:30 rolled around I was gone. About 12:00pm snow was soft and not many cookies at all, Pretty ideal shit I wasn't complaining one bit. For a Blue opening day conditions were fantastic. Midway was getting a little rutted/choppy in the area of going under the lift around 12 and got a bit worse come 1:30. None one was hitting the glade you could count all the tracks it was that little of an amount. Come 2 o clock I bounced so 5 1/2 hour session is not a bad start. Come around park was legit pretty nice features but man was I really rusty at first. I have to get off my phone and fire up my laptop so I can upload my stats from that app ski tracks. It's pretty damn accurate I like it. But all in all GREAT first day!

Yeah, upper lazy def a green and since it's a bit tighter lower can be rated a blue. Switchback could be a black it has the same pitch as main st with corners, I don't ride it a whole lot though. Paradise really couldn't be a blue only technical points are the corners and there are only two, hell Burma has some nasty hair pins that could be a blue. I'd keep paradise a green but make it a non slow skiing trail, make upper lazy green lower blue, switchback black, and Burma blue.

Speaking of Facebook when they posted about the opening date and not mentioned what trails they would be opening yet a person asked quote what trails would you be opening? Probably easy out vista midway and main st right? Unquote. I answere him back with quote they have enough snow to open with lazy mile tuts lane shuttle and the six pack.. But they most likely won't do that unquote. The bastards erased my response! I was like... Figures. They would do such a thing.

A bunch of damn monkeys could run the site better. Webcams? No sorry that's webcam blue..... And it dosent work. Maybe you can update the 2 year old pictures like switchside said. I actually wouldn't mind that..... BUT since Lazy is an "intermediate" and Paradise isn't they won't make Lazy a slow skiing Trail.

+1 Shit. Burma, Vista, Easy Out and all the learning trails aren't enough? They have to give "them" Paradise too? Thats lame! I love crusing at a pretty good clip and carve the whole trail when there aren't any Red Coats saying slow down blowing their whistles... It's the best run on the mtn for length and you have to screw it up and give it to noobs and gapers.... LAME.

Man, people steezin out the gaper tuck on midway to decide to take Burma and plow over a 6 yr old on a leash with daddy.. Bad news. Almost as bad as the 4 way Intersection at sidewinder, lazy and lower sidewinder meet up called gapers mishap. I was wrecked hard two years ago coming off sidewinder making a right to shoot down falls and I get plowed from behind and thrown a good 13 feet.

Anyone remember when midway branched off to Burma before they closed off the bypass? Mad collisions.
